Day one* purchase for me too! Looks awesome!

I thought the iPhone version was going to be finished first.

Make sure you guys don't forget us little iPod / iPhone owners who have been buttering your bread for the last two years.

I can't believe all the games that are launching for iPad that were supposed to come to the iphone and have been put on hold for a userbase that doesn't technically even exist yet.

Any idea how long it's going to take now to get Zen Bound 2 for the ipod???

Bringing the current ZB2 to an iPhone 3GS involves re-working the UI and going through the entire art content of the game. This is not a small task, it will take 1-3+ months depending on many factors (like possible Stair Dismount updates).

Bringing the current ZB2 to earlier hardware is technically theoretically possible, but involves re-designing the existing art content, optimizing everything, re-implementing lots and lots of menu and rendering stuff... frankly we have no clue how long that would take, or if it is something that makes financial sense. Or if the compromises in visual quality is something those would be happy with who have seen how the game looks on the more powerful hardware.

The summary of the above is that yes, we want to have ZB2 available on the iPhone as well, but how and when is a complex beast to tackle, and it's wise to not expect anything too soon.
