These are what I want, any ideas or reviews?: Assassins Creed ll Borderlands Fallout 3 Halo Reach Madden 11 Alien VS. Predator So any reviews or other games that are good?
Bioshock 2 Modern Warfare 2 if you haven't gotten it already The Orange Box Battlefield Bad Company 2 Burnout Paradise 2
Fallout 3, all the way. Still my favorite 360 game. If you have the DLC for it, pretty much never runs out of replayability. Some people say it's just Oblivion with guns, but I personally think it is WAY more than that. The story, setting, and combat mechanics all come together to form a 10/10 experience.
Assassin's Creed II is a pretty good game, I'd rank it one of the top multiplatform games of 2009. If you have played the first, a lot has been improved and if you haven't played the first, you don't need to, to enjoy the sequel. I haven't played Borderlands but from what I have heard, it's a really good game with a massive amount of weapons to collect. There are also some frequent downloadable content for it. I think they're onto their fourth installment of DLC. I didn't really enjoy Fallout 3, I don't think it was my type of game but everyone seems to praise it and I'm not surprised. Again, a lot of DLC for this game. Halo Reach, I don't think much has been really said about this game other than it's different. I think it's the last of the franchise or maybe just the last by Bungie so it's probably expected to be really good. Who knows. They also said they're changing the formula for the multiplayer (multiplayer public beta in March or May). If you have played a Madden game then you know what to expect from the next. Don't think anything has been announced for it. I probably wouldn't pick up Alien vs. Predator, it doesn't look that good from what I saw of the multiplayer demo but single player might be decent. If you haven't gotten Mass Effect 2, I'd highly recommend it.
It actually is very good. But it couldn't live up to the high bar set by the bioschock 1. It had a few improvments along with multiplayer mode, but that's really all. It just felt too similar.
My favorites from that list go: Assassins Creed II, Fallout 3, Borderlands. I think ACII and Fallout can interchange places though.
AC2, Fallout 3 and Borderlands are all amazing. Bioshock 2 isn't a bad choice either... I would get it from costco or samsclub or one of those other really big stores that have everything. They sell it for less.
Depends on the game and how long it's been out. If it's come out in the last month or so, just get it new off amazon or gamestop. The prices haven't gone down enough, yet. If it's been out for at least two months, you can get it at least $15 off on eBay. Just make sure the seller feedback is 100%, and you're golden. Gamestop has decent prices on used, too. I bet you can pick up a used copy of ACII for around $40 or so. Almost all my games are used since my parents aren't willing to pay $60 much for games, except on rare occasions when I really want one. They honestly don't, and if they do, it's like $5 less.
If it's very new then it's $5 off...which $5 more than anywhere else. But yeah getting it used is your best bet. I got Assassins Creed for 20.95 at costco about 2 months after it came out...that's the highlight reel of costco.
Mass Effect. I'd say get Mass Effect 2 also, but after you play/beat the first one I don't think I'll have to tell you
It's an FPS/RPG mix, really really good. It's not really like any other FPS, plus you can get the first one super cheap either new or used.
Well... Third-person, not first. But Mass Effect is definitely a great buy. The second made a bunch of improvements, including to the combat system, which makes the second one worth the price in and of itself.
Duh, yah you're right. Can't believe I missed that mistake. Speaking of third person shooters I also recommend Gears of War 1+2
