Looks on the bright side. You get Super Mario Galaxy! And Super Mario Galaxy 2! And... Boom Blox! Along with some random game where you throw a frisbee for a dog! TO FETCH!
At this point in the current gen console life cycle I don't think you can go wrong with getting either system. Most high profile 3rd party games are multi-console now and it really all comes down to the exclusives and what consoles your most of your friends have so you can play with them. Price is very comparable (360 has more things and services to buy with it) but the PS3 seems like a great deal with the included Blu ray and free (for now) online play. I only own a 360 because it was dominating the US market in console sales and wanted the defining and most supported console of this generation like how the PS2 was at the time. While the 360 has the most sales in the US, it's apparently not by a huge margin and the PS3 is picking up more sales now that it's cheaper. I almost wish I owned a Ps3 over a 360 because I don't really want to deal with shipping my console whenever the Red Ring of Death happens.
It's outselling the Wii in the US? Link? I know it's outselling the Wii in Japan, but that's only because FFXIII just came out.

Either way I think it shows that Sony hit the right note with their new pricing scheme, even if they are losing $36 per console. At least the PS3 is now a serious option... most people refused to give it a second glance before.
Titles! Ok, the PS3 has better graphics, performance, free online playing, etc. but the xbox 360 has titles! Only by having halo and gears of war, the xbox 360 wins for me.
Is that true??????? That must stink, unless they sell a lot. Package Uncharted 2 and LBP with the Slim and it will outsell everything. because i'm not sure if i'm happy or sad that this will happen.
If the PS3 had Gears of War and Mass Effect I don't think I'd even bother with the 360. Then again if the 360 had God of War and FF Versus XIII, then I wouldn't even bother getting a PS3 Wonder if KH3 will be a PS3 exclusive...
