Xbox 360 vs. PS3

I could tell that the 360 had more little pebbles and cracks in the boards if you look closely. The boards in that building looked like an abandoned warehouse on the 360, and a crappy job in a normal house on the PS3.
The characters looked nicer on the PS3 though.

 

Those AC2 comparison shots aren't full res anyway, but the main difference with that game is performance rather than looks. PS3 frame rate is pretty low.

Edit: I'm wrong, it's torn frames not frame rate. PS3 has 16.36% of torn frames and 360 has only 5.06%.

 

ps3. free online (no ethernet or adapter needed) better graphics, more space. Faster. Breaks down a lot less. amazing games.

only thing good about a 360 is halo. and i love how the little green lights turn to red, i think it means your REALLY good

 

I voted PS3 because personally I like it better, but really anything either system lacks, it makes up in a different aspect.

Well for the price....360. Just because it has the Halo and Gears of War franchise and the biggest online universe of all systems. But if they were both the same....id probably end up getting PS3. Has almost every huge game, and free online play.

 

you do realize that the 100 dollar price drop was because MS removed the HDD which ironicaly cost 100 dollars?

 

...and that for under $100 you could be buying a lovely 500GB hard drive for your PS3

Anyway, it is just about who you play with and sequels of games you loved from previous generations

 

I prefer the 360 because my friends all have them, I can always find someone to play with. I have had the RROD... twice. However, Microsoft covers it and even gave me a free month of XBL each time. While PSN is free, the games i have played on my friend's console seemed to lag more than Xbox. However, there were considerably less 4 year olds on PSN than XBL.

 

Looks like I'm stuck with the Wii and that imaginary SEGA console then

Have you heard of Gem for the PS3? It's basically the same thing.

 

Neither Natal or Gem sound very convincing beyond the intitial wow factor. Moving my fingers is enough for me, I want to be lazy when I'm playing games, I'm not a fat middle-aged mother of two so games don't have to revolve around exercise and ridiculous Harry Potter-esque arm gestures.

 

But with Natal one of those Mass Effect scene would be reeeaaal fun

 

I will not be getting either. It's just an attempt to make both consoles more family friendly. It will fail, because Nintendo has already won that ball game.

Apparently Gem is supposed to be much better than the wiimote, even with motion plus. Now its just a matter of what games will work well with it.
