Yeah I've seen 'em, but like I said I just got used to the PS3 triggers. They're fine now.

I specifically avoided games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band on 360 for one reason which hasn't been mentioned yet... MS and their stinkin' proprietary hard drives. PS3 supports any 2.5" SATA hard drive so naturally I have a 500GB WD installed, perfect for games with hundreds of DLC tracks available.

It's a common though that the PS3 has better graphics, but it's yet to have been proved. Almost all multi platform games look better on 360, it's just obvious when you see all the screen-cap comparisons

I'd love to see a screen-cap comparison of a multi-platform release that reflects this, because every single one that I've seen just shows exactly the same, if only a little lighter or darker. It's the AAA PS3 Exclusives that show off the graphic capabilities.

The other necessity is Uncharted 2. I can't stop playing it!

In ways, it's a ton better than MW2.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY IT. RIGHT NOW. BEST GAME ON THE PS3, HANDS DOWN.

Yeah loads of multi platform games look better on 360, although there is one area PS3 excels at... v-sync. 360 usually has better anti-aliasing, but at the cost of some crappy screen tearing (Resident Evil 5 being a good example), the PS3 version lacks FSAA but attempts to make up for that with Quincunx supersampling... which doesn't do quite as good a job, but allows for v-sync to be turned on at the same time. I really hate tearing so I'm quite happy putting up with a few jaggies for the sake of v-sync.

Multi platform games aside, I still think the PS3 is home to some of the best looking games to date, Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 spring to mind.

I like both, they are good.

    HOWEVER:

360, RROD'd on me once. I got a new one, free.

And right before the Christmas season started, my hard drive BROKE DOWN inside my PS3 and I had to pay money for Sony to fix it and give me a new one. I lost ALL my game data. It's OK though because now I won't play anything other than Uncharted 2 and LBP. (But I had everything PLATINUM on LBP! And I lost my 20,000 play level too. :( )

But, yeah, each is equal in my eyes. Most my friends only have an Xbox though so I play it more.

Eurogamer do screen cap comparisons and also a bunch of other high-tech comparisons. They'll get average frame rate and frame drops as well, 360 wins a lot of the time.

Eh, Uncharted 2 is mediocre. The best moments are the set pieces. I find the platforming sections quite bothersome, and the gunfights are boring and repetitive.

The car chase was great, as was the collapsing bridge.

Modern Warfare 2 is slightly better, in that the action is exciting, but the whole game is short, and quite schizophrenic. Most of the time it will start a level out as being stealthy, and then randomly pop an action sequence with no meaning.

I find inFamous to be the best PS3 exclusive at this point, despite most people saying that it is repetitive. After two playthroughs, I didn't find it boring. The best I've played on the PS3 is Borderlands.

I mean, everything is up to opinion, but sometimes I just don't understand how some people can have such hideous opinions. It really confuses me.

I thought the platforming parts of U2 were amazing. Not least because the whole game is simply enjoyable to look at regardless of what's going on, but also because the story keeps the whole thing moving, even while you're halfway up a building the characters are still talking and interacting with each other, it gives them a real personality and helps drive the game that little bit closer to being truly movie-like.

Oh, I liked the plot. It's just a shame Nathan Drake was such an appalling character. What, little quips at how he just murdered a mercenary who was quite likely to not have been a terrible person, as much as just a gun for hire? These dudes aren't clear-cut evil. Nathan Drake is just a sarcastic mass murderer, and his personality doesn't even come through.

The other characters are suprisingly well developed though. Except Lazarovic, who has no personality at all, other than seeming to look up to every psycho and evil fascist in history.

I like the PS3 more. A TON of my friends have XBOX 360's, but there's just little stuff that makes the PS3 better.

People say that a lot of games that are on 360 and PS3 have better graphics on the 360, but that's cause people have been making games on normal discs for 10 years. Blu-ray is a new technology and it'll take time to see people take advantage of it. Uncharted 2 is one example. The best thing about Blu-ray is that they learned how to double layer one disk with it, and fit over 60 GIGS of memory on it. That's a lot more room for extra detail and game features that you can't fit on the disc that the 360 uses which has what, 20 Gigs at most?

I personally like the controller on the PS3 more. You don't have to have giant hands to use it, and it's more responsive. It also doesn't have the rubber on the joysticks rub off as quick as the 360.
Also, even though it isn't game changing, I like the Siaxis PS3 features. In little big planet you can contol your guys head by moving the controller. It's just kinda a cool bonus.

I know.... 4 people who have the PS3, and none have broken. (Not including myself) 7 of my close friends have 360's.... and 5 of them have crapped out.

I personally like the PS3 a lot more. It has my style of games, my style of controller, and I don't have to pay Xbox Live.
    Case closed. :D

Dual layer Blu-ray is 50GB. The main problem with it being it reads slower than DVD on outer layers of the disc, hence the PS3 having a lot of games with mandatory installations. There are prototype BDs in the works with 100GB, 200GB and 400GB capacities, and the aim is for 1TB BDs to be available within the next 3 years... which obviously won't be used for gaming, no one needs that much space, but if they did... the install file would be massive. Ideally you'd have a ton of space available and absolutely NO necessary installs, as DVD has, but it looks like were stuck with it... the Blu-ray's one major fault.

On the other hand, once developers get used to arranging their date proficiently, putting frequently accessed stuff on the inside layers as well as anything needed for streaming, the install files should shrink. I believe Burnout Paradise does it really effectively. Compression tech is getting better too, that ought to help a lot.

Ahhh... I see. I just remembered reading a article online about that once.
But still, better to have the option of more memory than not enough, eh? Otherwise I'd of gotten a 16 Gig touch and it'd be full! ;)

I don't want to argue with you, because I love Unnatural Selection, but I really see no difference other than the lights from outside the windows in Abstergo.
