And by superior product, you mean Mass Effect right? If not: I can guarantee you that ME is a better game than most of your "favorite games ever". Since you are an expert in videogames, I would like to know why Effect was "crap".
Look around the dashboard... the option is there somewhere. All it really does is save you swapping discs, for some games there might be a slight reduction in load times but it's no guarantee... some games might even take longer to load from HDD.
true, but still, the fact that its been out for 2 years, thousands of people have gotten it and bioware just ignored it is really bothering me. i guess they just decided to ignore it because ME 2 is coming out soon, but alot of people just got it in the steam sale. i dont trust bioware anymore...
I'm with ya there. I love the PS3 controller but the 360's seems bulky and hard to use to me. Just my opinion though.
I liked it more for the decision-making aspect, where seemingly harmless conversation choices can sometimes mean the death of a key character. And the fact that characters you killed in the first installment will remain so in the second and third creates even more importance in which choices you make. Quests will only become available if you made certain choices as well, creating a huge amount of replayability. I admit, the endless planet-searching for "important minerals" drove me insane to the point where I stopped bothering checking them out. I only noticed the slow texture-loading a couple of times running on my 360, usually after entering a large area. Not enough to bother me, though. I enjoyed the game. But perhaps I could be classified as a "sci-fi nerd". Exposure to Star Trek enough at the age of 3 to be able to hum the entire theme song by memory does that to you.
i love the ps3 controller! the never seem to change it that much so i dont have to go button hunting! also the 360 just seems to have lots more dead empty space on the controller
I don't think it keeps you from swapping discs... The disc still has to be in the reader to play the game, to protect from using one disc to play the same game on a bunch of consoles. (Thieving weasels. ) It just keeps you from having to actually load any data from the disc, allowing you to avoid the airplane engine that is the 360's disc drive.
You're quite right, I've never bothered to do it so that kinda slipped my mind. Yeah... it's not really worth the space. I'm not the one trying to guarantee my opinions are fact.
Why all the fighting over 2 great systems? Decide which system is most comfortable for you. How does the ps3 make you feel? Do you like the controller vs the 360? Some may say the PSN dashboard lacks character and isn't as unique and user friendly as the 360 dashboard. Caress the 360 in your arms and feel the love that Bill Gates put into his most precious machine. Want to hear your 360 whisper to you? Install your games to your hard drive and have a smooth quiet running machine.
You have to be the most negative person on the forums. Either it's due to the fact you live in the UK or your just an unhappy person!
