I like both. 360 was better than the ps3 but not anymore. I have an xbox360 (never broken down btw) and love it.
The whole RROD thing is a big negative for me. I've heard a lot of complaints about it, but I also know a couple of folks with PS3s, and they've never had any issues.
I agree, the 360 used to be the better system, but not now. Ps3 has way more features and what it lacks in halo it makes up with gran turismo, god of war, lbp, and uncharted, and of course free online. Neither are bad systems though. Also the menu just looks nicer.
The PS3 is actually starting to look pretty attractive with all it's exclusives and free PSN, but the simple fact is more of my friends have 360s than PS3s. Both are great systems, though.
things that sold me the ps3 1. red-ray (rvb joke) 2. music on the console (I think i can transfer it via cd) 3. I can hook up a key board to it to type and stuff 4. It has netflix too 5.free online stuff 6. lack of d-bags online (excluding MW2 witch is d-bag centeral no matter where you go) 7. The exclusives (Uncharted MAG Demon's souls)
I cannot help it but I just hate the controller of PS3... I am not voting for any, cos I couldn't decide which is better.
The Blu-ray player in the PS3 is considered one of the best on the market, all else aside, it's easy for Sony to constantly update with new features and codecs etc... ...and I hope you aren't referring to the cooling fans that suck power from the console and do this:
and it is really really quiet when you are playing games and the fact that I might just be a firmware update away from 3-D blu ray movies not to say that I would have to get a new TV to watch said movies but I won't have to get a new player
It's just a matter of getting used to it. Once upon a time the NES controller felt comfortable. As for which is actually better, I'd say it was a tie... 360 d-pad sucks, PS3 triggers suck. I guess if I had to choose it'd be PS3 because it comes with a built-in battery by default.
thats the only thing that really makes any difference, playing with friends is the best bit about consoles in my opinion, Borderlands is a good single player game,GREAT co-op. apart from Mass Effect, my favourite game ever, it's almost as good as sex (but not actually, but I have a mate that actually turned someone down for a date to play Call of Duty...) anyway, what we have settled is, both are great consoles, neither have much of an edge over each other. But all in all, sex is better
You pegged it. But I find good triggers are more needed than good D-pads. For the games I play at least.
I had a girl over a few weeks ago, she more or less told me she was hoping to get laid but I insisted we played Assassin's Creed II.
Yeah I agree, but I managed to 100% Burnout Paradise using PS3 triggers so like I said, just gotta get used to it
