Hello Im currently trying to clear space on my iPad, because I need 6.9 GB for the iOS 8 update. I deleted a lot of stuff, but it says only 4.7 GB is available and I used 8GB. But if I look at the storage my apps actually take, it's much less. How can I clear more space? Is there hidden data on the device or something? Thanks Geert.
I'm not sure, but I strongly recommend updating using iTunes rather than OTA, so you won't have to clear out all that space.
