Now, why is this not in the Lounge section? In any event, the chances that we will have a new iPhone + OS 4.0 before Windows 7 hits the market is about 100%.
Meh. I wasn't too impressed by Windows Phone 7. It's a radical departure from previous Windows Mobile versions, but it really doesn't feature anything that wows me. They went in the same direction as the Zune, and I found the Zune to be rather dull. I know some people go in for that minimalist approach, but it's just not my thing. Besides, it really doesn't do anything revolutionary that would make you sit up and take notice. They're just cherry picking a few good ideas from Apple and Google and mashing them together in a revamped OS. Nothing really makes me want it. I'd still by an Android phone over it.
hmm i think 4G is going to have to be a big step up from current Gen iPhones. all these mobile phones are now coming standard with 5mp cameras and HD screens itll need a 5mp camera, flash (xenon) and an HD screen. or at the very[/I least an OLED screen
Lol. I don't think Apple has any reason to be worried about Microsoft's next step. That interface is pretty horrid, and although it's simplistic, it defies physics and actually looks cluttered. It has some great technology behind it, that is for sure. But the way it's being utilized is pretty underwhelming. Apple doesn't have anything to worry about. And as someone already said, there is a 100% chance Apple will be releasing a new iPhone as well as OS 4.0, so change is definitely afoot for the iPhone.
Considering I used to dual boot my macbook pro with 7 until I found the extra hard drive space was more valuable to me then the second OS, I no longer have any fear of windows competing with apple. For my money, at least.
Looks like things just changed, off of Kotaku they just posted about MIX10. Netlfix streaming it appears day one Windows 7Phone series, using Microsoft's proprietary silverlight tech.
Many developers aren't exactly enthusiastic about Winmo 7 because of the way they were treated in the past.
"The Harvest" looked fantastic, but "Battle Punks"... ugh. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Doubt they'll be able to pull of the intuitive and beautiful (but somewhat dated) OS the iPhone sports.
