This is pretty cool poker game app, the interface is friendly, and around one thousand people are normally online playing the game, there is no need to be afraid of lacking of players.

I get to say this game crash some times, and I do hope the level system could be set as a limit when I open a table just like a house rule, I am not saying how good I am, but there are so many people just jump in the table and mess around there.

Hope this poker game will be better for the next upgrade.

I played as a guest and as well as registered user. I noticed that guest players will have fewer chips than registered users. Though it isn't specified clearly in the rules section, I feel this should somehow be written somewhere in the rules section. This game does not have a how-to play or rules section. I feel the developer can add this section between Leaderboards and Invitations to play and make a menu bar which can be slide up and down for users to choose. It is somehow wrong to assume that everyone knows how to play texas hold'em poker.

Another feature I noticed that the player cannot specify the amount to raise or call. It is usually fixed. Even the amount to raise is fixed by the slider bar. It will be nice to specify what amount the player wants to raise or call. Given the limited amount of chips available in the free game, it will be easy to wipe out your chips if the gamer is a novice player.But to bet, the user is given the choice what amount he wants to bet. There is no live chat section too. Users can only private message each other.

It will be nice to have a live chat section where players if not engaged in a game can rest and relax and chat up buddies before they feel comfortable to join a game together. The game crashed for me in the middle of the game and I can rejoin the game. Luckily, there is a fallback system for me to rejoin the game. I reckon the developers can add a feature to email the crash report from the application so that bug fixes can be done. I like to mention that if the game has built-in avatars for people to choose , it will be better to play with people with photos rather than empty faces. I think most people are shy in showing their real faces so either cartoon avatars can work here too.

Texas Hold'em is always my favourite poker game. This app is good enough for me enjoying the game.

Just a tiny problem, it would be perfect if there is a digital input function besides the bet rise adjust bar, the bar is not that accurate especially when I was under the time limit stress condition.

Personally I would recommend this poker game app due to the cartoonish interface and those hundreds of players who are always awaiting online.

This is the best poker app I've ever seen in the AppStore! Really cool colorful graphics with nice animations! Here you can play in two types of poker games : Holdem Poker and Omaha High. You can play tournaments to achieve points, to get new levels. One of the great features that you can invite your friends to play with them. New Update, New Features, New Experiences!

I haven't experienced any problems that players have belowe. The game runs perfectly on my iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1. The game is very smooth and well performanced.

The game is based on network. You must connect to WiFi or 3G to play it. There are 4 ways to play the game: Game Center, Facebook, Built-in Registration and Guest. I have tried all of these 4 ways. In other word, there are 4 game slots. You don't worry about your game progress will be disturbed by your friends or kids. You can play as different users here. Or even register different IDs using the build-in registration. My favorite way to play is still using Game Center.

In the FREE version, players can get 5,000 chips for FREE, whichi is very surprising. With these chips you can play 2 kinds of games: Hold'em and Omaha High.

The game is designed as a game lobby. You enter the lobby and choose a room to play. You can enter any room ramdomly which is arranged by the game or choose a specific room as you wish. You can also create a new room and invite your friends to join. The system includes features like chatting, inviting, sending gifts. You can get a detailed tutorial if you are still a green hand.

The game supports Retina high resolutions. You can see the amazing graphics on iPhone 4/4s. The sound effects and music are also very soft, pleasant and impressive. Since the game supports Game Center, you can compete with your friends on Leader board. As I mentioned before, there are many achievements in the game, altogether 145. However, these achievements cannot be shown in Game Center. I hope they can be recorded on Game Center as well in later updates.

I like the icon very much! It's designed like a chip, which is very useful in the game. So I think this icon does perfectly stands for the soul and quality of the game. You can share the game and your Game ID via Facebook, Twitter and SMS.

In a word, the game is best Texas Hold'em Poker game I have ever played. The well-designed game UI and contents will bring high quality game experiences for you. You won't regret playing it!

P.S.
Some suggestions:
1. The loading screen of choosing table or going back to the lobby is a little laggy. Sometimes I can hear the sound but the screen is still frozen. It takes some more seconds to activate the screen.
2. Maybe you can add an Asynchronous game feature in the game. Thus, players can continue their games when they cannot play the game for a while.
3. Can you also add some other ways to earn FREE chips. Such as cooperating with Tapjoy.
4. Bug: I play the game using Game Center, I can edit my birthday in Profile screen. But it can only be editted to the date I edit. I cannot edit to my correct birthday.
5. Bug: I play the game using Game Center, but I cannot edit E-Mail address in Profile screen.
6. Please add Game Center achievements which are the same as those in the game.

Best Poker experience at your home!
Why go to Vegas if you could get the best Texas holdem experience at your home. Excellent graphics, smooth gameplay and realistic animations makes this app way ahead of its competitors. The thing that I like the most is the ability to invite your friends to a table and the chat system which is implemented very well in the app. The ability to login via Facebook, Gamecenter and share your scores via Facebook is also a neat feature. The game also has an in-depth tutorial for the beginners. The app also includes Omaha high if you want a break from playing Texas Holdem. The ability to create your own personalized account where you can upload your own avatar and keep track of your stats is like cherry on the top. Overall if you like the Free version I suggest you to get the Pro version as excellent production values completely justifies the apps high cost as the Pro version provides you with 6 times the chips compared to the chips you get by spending same amount on in app purchases in free and therefore highly recommended app for all poker fans out there.

Nice poker game!
This poker app is great! Interface is very simple and well organized. Cool poker game to play with friends online. So many achievements makes this game is very addictive. Comparing with other poker games this is more effective.
But I found some little bugs such as wrong keyboard orientation when you're chatting in the room or when you're registering in the game i.e. the keyboard is not landscape orientation like an iphone. And the other one is when I'm playing Sit&Go Tournament and when I want to leave the game and go back to the lobby I can't, when I'm pressing the Lobby button the game is just froze. I hope that if you're resolve all this bugs the game will be is more awesome than now.

Best Free Texas Hold'em There Is!

Texas Hold'em Poker is great for all pokers fans or people just starting out! The app has great graphics and sound effects with achievements and leader board to keep you playing to earn more and more!
The controls work really great and the Facebook integration to invite friends is wonderful to have so you can play with your friends. I do wish there was a option to turn on music while you are playing either from a playlist or some in game music and the game is a little laggy when loading the table or the lobby. I haven't experienced any crashes or bugs I do wish the in game chat was different because of how fast paced games are it seems to be very unused!

Overall Texas Hold'em poker is the best IOS poker game I have played with many achievements, options to play with your friends, leader board, levels, and different modes of poker will keep you playing whether you love poker or are just learning! I would recommend this to everyone and it is Free so there is no excuse not to try it!

Try this free version before buying the Pro version.
Not sure what happen to the latest update. So many ppl give 1 star rating and bad comments. I admit that I'm new to Texas Hold'em Poker. I'm even new to the poker game itself. I plan to learn how to play Texas poker before go to Vegas. After I try this game I guess I don't need to go to Vegas anymore. It is all I want. It is very addictive that I can't stop playing it.

Since I'm new to the poker game it would be better if the game could provide a tutorial to newbie like me. Since there's no tutorial in this game I googled the rules before I dive into the game. The retina graphics looks very nice with the latest update. Music and sound effects are fine to me. It would be better if I could choose music to be played while playing. The game is fast paced I don't have much time to think in every round. But after you played more everything will become easy. The only thing that annoying me is when I want to raise the bet the slider is not very easy to control. Can it be locked to some fix numbers like 5K,10K,20K while dragging the slider?

Another problem is the screen is stuck with message 'Loading products' when I try to buy chips. Is it my network problem or a bug?

Everything else is perfect. I'm so exiting when I got the my first FLUSH. I feel good! Highly recommended for poker lovers.

Great Poker Game
This is undoubtedly one of the better poker game on the app store and free at that. A word of warning before you press the buy button: this is an ONLINE poker game, which means you will need an itnernet connection to be able to play it. You can use Facebook to identify yourself online or GameCentre if you are picky about releaasing too much personal information. There is also a build in registration in the app itself to help you set up a personal account I can go on raving about how many hours i have poured into it, but I think a better approach would be for me to break my review down into pros and cons.

Pros
1. Realistic presentation and great ambient background music and effects to set the mood
2. Free chips provided on a daily basis.
3. Stable connection
4. Intuitive chat system
5. Good support from the development team
6. User account customization
7. Social netoworking integration (facebook!)
8. Newbie friendly. Even a newbie can jump on baord and get into gear because of the in depth tutorial provided to familiarize beginners in the game mechanics and interface.
9.High resolution graphics that keep everythign sharp and clear

Cons (Aspects that have room for improvement)
1. Tables are full sometimes, perhaps more tables are needed!
2. Displayed chip values are rounded down.
3. No game cetnre achievements!

To sum it up, this is a really solid online poker game;its many game mechanic and interface advantages more than offset a few negative points. The social aspect of this game really sets it apart from the other poker games in the appstore. To be able to chat realtime with your poker buddies and send them gifts is a really nice touch. If you even have a slight interest in online poker games, you really own it to yourself to pick this game up.

I Found An Ace that I could Keep
I guess I'm lucky enough to try this app out after some major bug fixes because I have not not been as unlucky as some other reviews have and I have both this free and the pro which I got after trying the free one I will say that there seemed to be a lot of tables to play which can be either good or bad depending on how you look at it

Excellent game they really did a great job of making this a very beautiful looking game, the interface is simple and you're able to play against anyone at any given time, the tutorial, which a lot of these games lack ,is fantastic and can have a new player up to speed in no time just ask my girlfriend who's better at this game than me now.

The ability to communicate with your opposing players makes you feel more like you at an actual table instead of in your own home, and being able to invite friends to your table is a great feature especially if you're lucky enough to end up with a table of friends. I enjoy the rewards and achievements and being able to choose the table specific to my level of play. The best thing to me is the chat feature cause aint nothing like some good trash talk while playing

You toss in the Sit & Go tournaments and Omaha HI and the only thing you're missing is the whiskey and the smoke. A real masterpiece of a game for fans of Hold'em just remember "You never count your money, while you're sitting at the table" give it a whirl for free then see if you're ready for the Pro Version
