Xbeta, just make sure you download the updated version of the app - otherwise your review won't show for the new version. And of course include your improvement suggestions for the app
Thanks for your kind reminding. I didn't notice it since I used to update the app on iDevice and review on the PC Will update the app and review ASAP.
It's getting close to summer so that means I need to start working out again, right? I mean, I have that dusty weight bench in the garage so I might as well start using it again. So far this app has been tremendously helpful. It lets me pick which part of the body I want to work out and then shows me tons of videos to make sure my form is correct. It even has an enormous selection of already made workout sessions that range anywhere from gaining to toning to just simple weight loss. On top of the workout videos there's a food and body tracker that you can use to track your progress along with the food you eat. When you hit that wall while working out it's very easy to go back and see what you ate that day so you can make quick and easy dietary changes. Since you've been tracking what you eat it makes it easy to correlate what foods really help your workouts and what foods don't. So far this app has everything I have needed. There is premium content that you can purchase like new workouts if you somehow get through all of the ones that are already included in the app, the ability to share your progress on Twitter or Facebook, and their fitness magazine. Being able to download the app content via iTunes to use offline is an excellent feature. I do have a couple requests: * I know this app is for the iPad but it would awesome if you guys could make it universal and sync the two using iCloud. I don't carry my iPad around with me everywhere so keeping up with my food intake can be cumbersome. If I could enter my food into my phone and then use my iPad for the workout it would be a TON more helpful. * I would like to be able to print some of the workout content, my workout schedule, my previous food intake. For me, it helps to see some of it printed out. It also makes transitioning between workouts a lot easier.
Reviewed as Law Ng on US store with 5 stars: I like the narrations and videos being illustrated in the exercise base section. Almost each of the exercises are followed by a video and voice narration which illustrates how each of the exercises are being carried out. This is great for a beginner like myself who seldom do workouts. The personal trainer under my workouts gives me a virtual assistant to advise me on which of the exercises are necessary for me to attain my goals. I will not touch the expert mode right now because I am still new to the workouts. Basically, the quick recipes and personal trainer help me to carry out the daily workouts that I need. It is hard to understand how the food & body tracker works. I added some of the food I ate but I cannot view the food from the chart. If I made a mistake in the food keyed in, I cannot make any changes. The tracker is helpful as it provides a calendar for me to track. I was prompted with an error that the data cannot be loaded under the magazine section but I did connect to the Internet. Perhaps the developers can provide some instructions on how to get to the magazine articles as it is ambigious here.
