Recently, i've bought 4 "fitness" apps, where this is the latest one. Honestly, this is the best app among all of them! i'll never buy another new one. i was amazed by how this app works. it really helpful and very convenient! my favourite feature is the one that help me track my daily food consumption, also my workout! i love this alot! I really recommend this app to those who want to shape their body. its doesnt matter you're beginner or pro, man or woman, old or young! get this brilliant app now!

Update: Im glad they added different languages!! Now this app become even more convenient! Just want to more languages. Kudos to the devs for keep on updating this app.

The Only Fitness app you will ever need
Fitness for iPad app includes the functionality of 4 different apps- Calorie counter, Body tracker, Pedometer and Fitness exercises/ Yoga.

The Calorie Counter keeps track of your daily goals by calculating the calories intake via its gigantic food library and categorizing it into carbohydrates, protein and fats and use this information for giving various suggestions for achieving your goals. Body tracker keeps track of your B.M.I while the pedometer which comes with custom music player tracks distance travelled and calories burnt and represents it in form of various charts and graphs. Finally the best thing I like about this app is availability of various workout modes combined with over hundreds of Fitness exercises and Yoga poses with audio and video instructions in this app.

Some of the features I would like to see as a future update are:-
1) As the app contains so many features, I would love to see some kind of demo tutorial showing how to use the app effectively for new users.
2) Also would love if the user could get the premium contents for free for a limited time so that could try and see the difference.
3) Retina update for the new iPad

Best Fitness app!
Fitness for iPad is the best fitness app! All features what you need for fitness in one app! It includes calorie counter, body tracker, a lot of fitness exercises and yoga poses, pedometer.Huge database of fitness exercises with detailed photo,video and audio description. You can also add your own exercises. There are a lot of training programs for you or you can create your own individual workouts. With calorie counter you can track your burnt and consumed calories, nutrition info, check your daily progress calorie goal. Another great features that you can monitoring your body parameters in form of graphs.
Nice to see this big update with a lot of new features like new workouts, sharing workouts with friends on twitter or facebook, All-in Fitness magazine with new content.

Amazing Fitness app!
Absolutely great Fitness app for iPad! This app contains everything what you need for practice in Fitness not only for begginers but also for professionals and gurus. Huge database of exercises for different parts of body, also Yoga poses with photo and video instruction. Over 100 workouts for any goal. You can also create your own custom workout. if you have some question you can find answer on Personal trainer it's really cool feature! Very good Fitness app! If you want to get fit, you need this

Fitness for iPad does one thing right, it gives you the motivation to get fit. Upon opening the app, I was awestruck by how complete the app is in ensuring you keep to your fitness routine. Whether you want to bulk up or lose weight, the app gives you the appropriate exercise routines (with TONS of excellent instructional videos, mind you) to lead you to your goal. You can also keep track of your progress by logging in your statistics (eg. weight, waist,) and also put in photos of yourself. You may think that's quite an app already, but you also have a calorie counter to keep track of your food intake!

Like I said, if you want to get fit, it's the perfect complement for your active lifestyle, whether you're a beginner or a pro.

With 700 videos and exercises plus 300 yoga videos. You follow the exercise via audio, picture or video. Keep track your BMI and stay fit & healthy. With this app you wont need a personal trainer and go often to the gym. Use it everywhere, in your house, outdoor or recreational place.

Let keeps our life healthier and love ourself.
Would like to see an upgrade improvement to make this app better.
a) User can choose their level, eg. Beginner, Intermediate, Advance in their profile. And the workout that shown would be sync with their level and gender. So they wont need to choose their workout again.
b) Give a few full magazine article and the user could print out the magazine article.
c) User can took and save a picture of them before and after using the Fitness app. So they can make the comparison physically from the picture. A gallery menu maybe could be use for store the image.
d) Mini dictionary description about the body part, muscle or any gym/workout term. So that the beginner user could understand more.
e) Let the user choose a music from their music to listen while using the app.

Without a doubt this is my one exercise app, last year I lost over 40lbs with some serious dieting and a steady workout plan, I was able to use this app for my home gym workouts and have been able to keep the weight off with it's help.I saw a lot of reviews complaining about paying more but the fact is the content provided for free is more than enough for anybody serious about fitness and everything else is extra icing on top, so you decide,pay extra for the premium offerings or stick with the ample supply of content that given free.

This is really a fantastic app,with 100s of great exercises plus new workouts added constantly,it features the ability to share them with friends, a fitness magazine(premium content),you can cater the exercise to your gender,and now many different languages are available, and if you prefer you can now have the exercises in a PDF form as well.

By downloading the content you will give yourself instant access to all the great workouts on the go. Quick Recipes give you tailored workouts based on .Goal Level or Gender while Personal Trainer allows you to enter data to have them create a fitness routine for you.

Besides that you still get a video audio and text to teach you each exercise plus the pictures then you also still have that great X-ray pictures showing exactly which muscles are worked with the exercises .
Some great improvement have been made(audio and video added to yoga) but these are what I think are still missing

1)I still wish the audio and video was combined or at least have the complete audio and not have the video play with the ending audio.
2) I also think there should have a warm up section to get your blood flowing before you start include stuff like jumping jacks running in place etc
3)the Cardio section with no videos or audio at all that's a major issue.
4)They should offer at least one magazine free to let us know exactly what we would be getting with out subscription.
5)Lastly I noticed that you only get access to both audio and video in the Base Section but only video in the My Workouts section

All these things aside it is still without a doubt the best workout app in the entire app store

Fitness for iPad is definitely the best and most professional fitness app on iPad! Impressive and amazing helpful for your body fit!
With this app I can excercise with the equipments at spare time such as at home or in the office, even on the go, very useful for me! Always makes my life easier and saves a lot, it has now been my personal coach instead, which works perfectly 'cause it actually knows me better with the built-in BMI tracker. Neatly design and user-friendly interface makes this app such easy to use that even my dad can handle it without obstacles. Huge video collections of so many exercises as guidance which covers almost everything about fitness! The built-in calorie counter combined with detailed guidence always get my excercise efficient and effective! 1, Retina Display optimization for the New iPad(Want the Retina Display so baaad);
2, Multi-profile support;
3, Achievements added for different exercises, such as Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Master; so we can show off the achievements with frends via social media;
4, More localization of both this app and the contents, especially Asian languages;
5, More exercises added.
6, Data import feature added as well.

After using the iPhone version for sometime I'm impressed. It is awesome, the best fitness app I've ever used. So I decide to try the iPad version. Like the iPhone version it includes thousands of fitness and yoga exercises and workouts. Each of them come with detailed text, photo and video instructions which could ensure you do each exercise correctly. All these contents are in HD quality. With several build-in tools it can calculate calorie, track my body. The new UI is well designed, I like it although it is a little complicated for me. The preset workouts are good and enough for me. It would be better if it could be updated from time to time. It now became the only workout app in my iPad.
Awesome, finally all logs could be exported. Thank you.
Overall, its definitely a great app that is worth your every penny, nice job!! Highly recommended.

Something needs to be improved:

1. It would be better if I could setup a reminder in the app to remind me to fill new data of my body in the Body tracker. I always forgot to fill it. And of course it would be better if it could sync with the Calendar app like the reminder of Trainning Plan do.
2. I'm a lazy guy. I ate almost the same food every day. Can you provide a way to duplicate the foods of some day in the past from breakfast to snacks so that I don't have to select them all over again.
3. Can you provide an option to select background music when I'm doing the workouts?
4. Hope it could support the new iPad in the future updates.

Get Fit With Fitness for iPad

First, the updates are great! Export option and localization are a real plus! Thank you~

This certainly the best fitness app on app store. The app looks extremely polished. And it has an unbelievably huge collection of videos and images. (It has 700+ exercises for men and women & 50 yoga poses with more than 700 video clips!)

With such a detailed database, surely you will get the correct form. I really like the clear voice instruction. That just makes my workout much easier. The videos are accurate. Besides, you can track a lot of useful information (distance, duration, weight, etc) about each of your session.

Moreover, the app has several other professional utilities, namely, Calorie Counter, Body Tracker & BMI.

The body tracker is amazing, it allows you to visualize your progress in the form of beautiful graphs, and it even allow you to take photos. With body tracker I am sure I will be motivated everyday!!!

The food tracker is equally important. It help you to monitor the food you eat. And that's important, isn't it? So that will help you to find what food will really help your workouts.

But I do has some suggestions:

1. iCloud, universal profile, and intergration

I appreciate the sign in with Facebook feature. But still, I hope an iCloud sync option will be available soon. I know this can be tricky. But it will not only make this this app a lot better, it will benefit all Viaden health apps. It's kind of frustrating that you have to set up profile everytime when you open a app from the same developer. I expect I can have a universal profile once and for all. For example, when I did workouts (following All-in Fitness), I can know how much calorie I burnt in Calorie Counter.

I think sync needs to be done automatically as well. It's more convenient for users. A universal profile can help better intertergrate all these health app together. Not only users who use more than one of these health app will be grateful for this, I think it will also help Viaden building its brand.

2. Better loading

This is a minor problem. Especially if you have downloaded the content and uploaded it to the app, it won't be problem even if the Wi-Fi connection is bad in the gym. But I notice when you are training and switching to the next excercise, the app will start to download content like pictures immediately, and it slows thing down. This loading circle won't be necessary if the app starts to download the picture for the next excercise when you are doing the previous excercise. I hope the app can handle downloading in a more efficient way.

3. More intuitive UI

The app has a very polished UI. But sometimes it looks quite confusing. When you choose from the quick recipes, the users might not notice the categorization because it looks too dark. I think if add a icon for each categorization, it will be more intuitive for new users.

The new "Share your own programs" clutters with the photo in vertical mode. And the interface of "Food & Body Tracker" need to be more streamlined. And I hope the app can offer a demo tutorial for new users.

When you are in workout session, the interface does not arrange all the information very clearly. I do not think putting the Timer icon on the right side of the screen is not a good idea. (I didn't very quickly find it.) First the timer icon should be bigger. Because it is actually a very important feature. Second, I think the row of icons (audio, movie, muscle, timer) should be put beneath the workout instruction image like this. I think if you rearrange these elements, it will make more sense. Because, first, a user should carefully read all the detailed instruction. Then he looks at the image, and he will get the general idea what the workout is like. If he still doesn't know how to do it, he can watch the video, (which he will not do it every time). And for me, then I will listen to the audio instruction and do my exercises. And finally I will tap the timer (So please make it bigger!).

If a image zoom up, you have to tap within the image, so it can go back to normal size. I hope I can tap anywhere on the screen and it will go back to normal size. I believe this practice is more common in iOS development.

4. Retina support for the new iPad

5. I hope I can play some workout music within the app.

It has lots of advantages like beautiful design that looks great on iPad, calorie counter, daily activity tracker, rich exercise database, and ability to ask support on any subject. As a result this app is all-in tool that helps you to keep fit and stay healthy. Beautiful User Interface make it easy to use so even newbie can understand how it works. But it has the only minus: because of big amount of exercises size of all media is around 1Gb, I think it will be better if users have chance to download pictures and videos separately like in previous iPhone versions (and trick for developers, instead of record long videos you can shoot short 3 second clips and repeat them, i think it will reduce the size by half or more). Concerning minor improvements please add Retina Display Support, Ability to change language manually and more Calculators like Body Fat Calculator and Total Daily Energy Expenditure calc.

This fitness app is a prime example of something that technology, and especially the iPhone and iPad can really help and provide something that we wouldn't have without apps. You can now have videos, photos, tips, trackers and data analysis all in one place, with the ability to carry it around with you. There are a few apps that offer similar features, but this is definitely the best. For this price, it's also something that I would recommend to anybody, as it's fantastic.

To start with, this app has got a lot of great features that I really love. Things like the ability to track various different body parameters and then compare them over time is great, as well as the ability to record everything you eat and keep to a 'budget'. With over 100 workouts, and pictures, text, videos and audio to accompany each of them, it's well covered in that area as well. It's also got lots of features that although small, are little extras that make this a joy to use, like the ability to download all content at once, so you can use it without WiFi, lots of different restaurants on the food tracker, a nice magazine, as well as different profiles so that different users can use it on the same device at the same time. You can't fault it for its features at this price as it's superb for this price.

Even though the app is awesome, there are a few features and changes that could be introduced that I think would improve the experience. While they aren't needed, they would add that little extra polish that makes an incredible app stand out from something amazing.

- iCloud: Although this isn't really needed, as you can manage everything separately, this would be an incredible feature to come. I think it's great that the app has both an iPhone and an iPad version, but it really needs sync between them, and with the ease of iCloud it would be perfect. I find it best to manage everything on my iPad at home, but then I don't have the data with me when I'm on the go. At the same time, if I go to a restaurant to eat something and use the food database to add it, it won't be on my iPad when I get home. iCloud would vastly improve the experience.

- Retina: This one is rather simple, but with the release of the new iPad and the gorgeous retina display, apps really need to be updated. At the moment, this app hasn't been updated and it really doesn't look that good. Since it's also got a lot of photos, images and video this is one of the apps that will best benefit from the change, and with the improvements it will really look amazing.

- Calorie Counter: At the moment, the calorie counter is pretty good, and it's got a lot of different chains, such as big nations ones to more local ones, recipes, popular brands and almost everything I could search for. However, it does lack the choice of other apps, as they can offer over 500,000 choices instead of 300,000! 300,000 is a lot, but it's best to have as much as possible as if you're lacking just one meal from your day it can really mess up your tracker and progress, especially if you're trying to stick to a particular regime.

- Graphics: A few of the graphics, especially the icon look quite old, and certainly not sleek and modern like we get with Apple designed apps. I'd love to see a refresh of the user experience, bringing some nice new graphics to make things look better. It looks ok how it is, but it could certainly be better. Maybe this could come at the same time as retina display support?

- Few Bugs: For the most part, this app was solid, but I did experience a few crashes that I would love to be sorted out. However, a few annoying hiccups did take place, notably as I tried to download all of the content or when I tried to search through all of the food options available. Despite these, they are only small and it's much smoother than other apps that I have tried.

- Individual Workout: I've seen the individual workout option, and it seems like a great price, offering something that a personal trainer would charge a lot more for. However, I'd love to see some additional options, maybe information about the team who produces it, or an example copy. This might make me more likely to buy it. Maybe in the future we could also see additional services, such as a subscription, where the plan is evaluated every so often based on your progress. This would be much better than paying every single time, only for minimal changes.

- Metric/Imperial: I saw the option in the settings, but this didn't seem to change anything even when I restarting the app.

- Gym Locator: With GPS on offer, I'd love to see the ability to search for local gyms, or search by location if you're visiting somewhere else and you don't know where to go. It could include information about the gym, such as address, map, price, website and contact information. Not many apps offer this and it would be a fantastic feature to standout from the crowd.

- Tutorial: This app has a lot of different features, so many in fact that it can be really confusing once you first open it up! Maybe it could include some sample data or a tutorial that you could access if you wanted some help with. I think it would help a lot and cut down on the time that you had to mess around in order to be comfortable with the app.

With everything considered, this app is already perfect. It's packed full of different features that cover almost anything you could ever wish for. Best of all, this is all available at this amazing price. Many similar apps can cost $9.99, but this is just as good and costs a lot less.

I have got benefits from this app.The app really does help to me. I use it for training muscles and keep body figure good.

The app provides a large amount of exercises with detailed videos and images. The instructions are also very comprehensive. Following the trainer, trainees can easily finish the courses and after short term or long term efforts, effects are reflected.

There are over 700 exercises and 300 yoga courses in the app. About 100 ready-made workouts can be suitable for most users. You can also customize your own workouts using the 1000 courses provided.

Videos and images are viewed online by default. But you can download them all to make offline view.

It's very important to track your physical conditions after training. The app also provides a statistics to manage your data. You can track changes and improvements in the app.

Trainings must be done regularly and perseverely. Once you determine a workout or a course to do, you can record it in calendar. When it's time to do excerices, the app will remind you.

Many other premium features such as All-in-Fitness Magazines can be bought via In-App-Purchase.

I will keep using this app. We both hope this app can make better and better. Here're some suggestions:

1. The extra contents can be downloaded in the app. But when the app is quit unexpectedly, all what have download must be done again. Please make it a pause and function to continue download after unexpected quit.

2. The app supports only western languages now. In order to let more people enjoy the app, there should be more asian languages added.

All in all, the app is very practical and really worth the price! And it's now on sale! Grab it now!

This fitness app is quite thorough and just what I need at the moment. With tons of video clips and various kinds of exercise routines, you could just pick the most suitable method for yourself, besides there are calorie counter and body tracker which assist your workout step by step.

Suggestiones:
1) Most of the exercise routines take too much time to finish, could you please make some routines which take less time.
2) The downloading taks of the videoes is hell of a job, at this point those GPS apps had done quite well, they give a individual link to download the maps through the PC then I could sync the map package to my iPad. I hope you could do the same way in the future..
