Yes, it's just Sony's way of competing with Apple's App Store. But Sony's is gonna be better because it won't be filled with use-less flashlight and fart apps. That's what I love about it.

Yes. Minigore, Pacman Championship Edition (w00t!), Almost every EA game on this App Store will come over to Sony's, and more. The PSPgo is gonna be one hell of a beast.

Knowing Sony $30-$50 per game. For that price I can sort to find the good ones. Then again TA does it for me.

IMO their current system is lacking games and that is the main reason why it hasn't taken off.

I'll probably be picking up a PSP Go a little after release, making it my first Sony gaming device ever and my first gaming device I have purchased after the iPod Touch I got.

Only reason I'm getting it is A) Support Sony's GREAT decision in adopting an AppStore like system, B) It looks gorgeous, and C) this thing was made for games, so it won't be like the AppStore's downside, which is crap apps, approvals will be faster since the games will be higher quality and from notable companies (most of them), and the easy download like we have on the iPhone will make it the best mobile gaming device ever.

I said I would get it 'a little after' it's released, because usually after Sony unveils an awesome product, Nintendo tops it.

I don't think I'll be getting a PSP Go, I'll just wait for the PSP 2 or a DS 2.

PSP Minis work on any PSP model, not just the Go. I think the current prices are expected to be $1 to $5 (but don't quote me on that). I'm sure they will be priced similary to the iPhone.

Either way, I'm buying Minigore and Pacman CE, possibly Feildrunners, depending on what it adds to the iPhone version. There's also some other ones I'm forgetting about.

    I'm waiting for either an

    A) next-gen handheld gaming console (not revisions of the DS or PSP)

    B) next-gen game console (more powerful, faster Xbox with built in Natal)

'Til then, sticking with the Touch. Couldn't care less about anything else.

Pffft, not really. I originally opted for a Wii. Would've stuck with it weren't for the crappy 3rd party games. I just like the 360's library better.
