I'll be getting it, I remember playing it a ton on my N64 when I was younger, so it'll be nice to have it on my phone.
Exactly (about the full 3d platformer, not about being broke). An earlier poster mentioned that they already have many 3D games like this one on their device. Really? I can't think of one successful 3D platfomer in the App Store. Assassins Creed 1 is probably the closest, but I wouldn't call that game "successful." I played this a lot on my Mac back in the day, and even though I didn't think it's brilliant or very original, it was certainly a blast. Can't wait to try it out on my iPhone.
I guess it depends on how the camera and controls are, and how well it runs on a 3G. I already have the DreamCast version, after all. You never know how these ports will turn out. GTA: Chinatown Wars runs just as smoothly for my as the DS version does, yet a simple game like Final Fantasy feels like it was ported by a 12 year old who just got his first computer.
in a way, yes, but playing a full-fledge 3D adventure games such as rayman 2 would have a better effect, especially with its epic looping music
I've never played Rayman before, but I might buy it after impressions. Just saying I've noticed you create a lot of threads.
Same. I've never played Rayman before, but I'm excited to try it out, especially if it's coming from Gameloft.
