Well, I don't know of any "security risks" if you do change your default password and don't install anything from non-checked sources. There isn't any risk with well-established titles like Backgrounder and the other, top-notch Cydia apps.
Everyone who says that there are games that don't work with jailbreak, all you have to do is download SBSettings and boot into safe-mode. This will make your springboard crash (on purpose of course) and the games that didn't work will work again. Some people jailbreak and don't learn anything about it, thus they get mad and say that jailbreaking is stupid. I have only had one game not work for me unless I was in safe-mode, but for some reason it began to work again without having to be in safe-mode.
