Annoying much? Personally, I have a PSP 2000 and think the iDevice can compare with it. Note: I said in MY opinion. So don't go flaming about how this is better than the iDevice, etc.
You know he's still going to flame you. But as for me, I'll have to see. DS2 could offer quite a few possibilities, but if PSP2 is a lot like the PSP, I'll pass. An Xbox portable sounds pretty radical though. I'd get that if it existed.
Haha, I know. He probably will, but whatever. The PSP has been the same for me throughout, and I barely use it anymore. As for the DS, well I just never really like Nintendo-esque games, so the majority of my time is spent on my iPod Touch.
The underlined part: OK, sure. If you go through some of your posts, there aren't really any facts in them. The bolded and italicized part: Hypocritical, much?
A DS2 and PSP 2 will eventually come out, PSP Go isn't a PSP 2. As far as the Xbox portable is concerned, nothing has been announced, it's more of a "what if" situation.
Nah! I'm good with my Touch. I like how sleek and ultra-portable it is, that I can get cheap games that are fun and I have no problems with the controls so it's cool. A bit off subject, I don't know if it was just me but when playing Modern Combat (I played it before going to bed) I was actually chewing on my covers (that was how suspenseful it was to me).
IM definitely ok with my itouch(MY DS is somewhere in my garage) the only reason i said id have to see them is because itd just be nice to look at while im held up in ravensword!!!!!!

Here's the difference between a PSP/DS and an iPod/iPhone: The PSP and DS's are MADE for gaming, then got multimedia added onto it. The iPod is MADE for multimedia, then got gaming added onto it later. Big difference.
Almost assuredly yes. I am a huge gamer and I own almost every system released since the NES. If there is but one good exclusive game for either platform-and so far every system has had at least one-then I will have to buy them in order to play it.
I'd get a DS2 no questions asked, but would pass on a PSP2. The games for the iDevices are great for brief periods, but until I can play something for more than an hour or hour and a half without a dead battery, the games in the app store are a diversion, nothing more.
I'll most likely stick with the ipod Touch. My DS hasn't been used in over a year or two. If the next PSP is a big enough upgrade I may consider, but most likely not.
I doubt it. There are a couple franchises I'd miss, but handhelds aren't my primary gaming devices to start with, and my iPhone is the first gaming device that actually goes with me wherever I go. I'll stick to consoles and PC for home gaming in the future I think, and use my iDevice for gaming on the go.
I don't have an iPod touch (or an iPhone for that matter, and don't want an iPhone either) but would like to have one as I think the games on it are pretty interesting. However, I'm a big handheld gamer (like playing console games but play portable ones more) and although I'd have to see what it looks like, if the DS2 has features that justify "upgrading," I'd consider it. As for the PSP2, I'd still have to see it but I don't think so. The PSP2 would be the sixth PSP iteration and...well, enough is enough I think. I'd say just get a PSP Slim, and Memory Stick, and download games from PSN to the Memory Stick. There you go: a cheaper, more affordable PSPgo.
If Apple can get a kind of "iControlPad" added to the roster of iDevice peripherals, and continue to improve processor speeds with subsequent generations, I don't see why the iPhone can't eventually become a real competitor with something like the PSP. Seems like it's only a matter of time. Eventually, I see the two industries (phone/PDA and portable gaming devices) as merging.
