a game like that should have a price tag around 7.99 or so - even with the volume potential apple offers. if it was on other platforms (windows mobile et al); it would probably be 39.95 USD. the 99c model hurts everyone.

wow... vovin is right your just trying to stir up trouble, not only will no1 follow you, but even if they did a couple hundred boy-cotters is nothing compared to the millions of sales they make. Besides the big game developers provide some of the best most graphically enhanced products in the app store, which otherwise wouldn't be there had they not been in business. Also, the only reason the ipod touch hasn't been technically considered a handheld game device is because of the lack of big game developers for the system, otherwise the system would have much more amazing games and coverage on ign and gamestop ect., so stop complaining about the few big game developers that do handle the ipod touch. You act as if EA and Gameloft are stealing games like doodle jumps sales, which is hardly true, it's still #6 in top grossing and #1 in top paid, among many other indie games.

Your right, people are extremely spoiled by the prices on the appstore and when i see comments like that it pisses me off. The time and effort to make these games is far beyond that of a .99c price tag, but because of these spoiled kids they won't sell if they're "too high".

Thanks - you took the words right out of my mouth. What are ten... hundred or even one-thousand boycotters versus 1 - 2 million happy customers?
And yes, he likes to cause trouble. Wouldn't wonder if there actually is a indie developer is behind this. No offense intended, but no normal iDevice user would come up with such a hatred towards big companies. Most users who are fans of indie games just ignore big companies, nothing else. I never seen rantings like this on TA before (in fact, just a few rants versus Gameloft, but that happens from time to time).

Yeah, Michaelscott. You're real, for sure. But I was pointing out that you're using a secondary account because MAYBE you're someone well known at this forums...
You also could be someone like hardcoregamer or supermariofan, who knows?
People are talking with each other in social groups, in PMs - I am not the only one who is supecting this. In fact, I am one of more than a dozend...

Fact is, since you showed up, you've caused trouble. From your first post to your last - the ranting against big companies did not stop.
Everyone can check that out in your statistics.
And shortly after you appeared here, even more users popped up, never seen before but all are ranting straight forward versus the big companies, too.
    Strange, isn't it?

Your conspiracy theories are amusing maybe you should stop watching to much tv. No one is using pm to talk to about this rants, they are valid rants.

Lol, me? Conspiracy therories? You're the one believing that the whole TA forums are filled up with Gameloft employees!

And yeah, just the reply I expected... :D
But I didn't really expected that you will confess right now...

    Oh - and I don't watch tv...

all i can say is big or small dev are making a great step forward for bringing the most gaming exp on idevices!!

gameloft is great dev they push the igame device to its new level!!

Ngmoco is a great game but many people criticise them as a greedy dev... but i dont see it that way because you still has an option if you want to pay or not

And why should the big companies SUCK at updates?

Most games I bought from them had just no need of an update.
No bugs + huge content + good development = no update needed.
    Simple, isn't it?

Tapulous is the among the worst of the top-grossing app companies when it comes to updates. They are terrible when it comes to adding new features and plumage before fixing existing problems.

Well said. In certain cases big companies should update their games to fix bugs. The gripe about MC was legit. Gameloft did fix it in the end. Most of their other games are complete. When a big developer doesn't fix their buggy game I just choose not to buy anymore. Problem solved. Some people seem to use frequent updates as a source of self validation. I have friends for that.

O.k., I checked some of my recent purchases from big companies and came up with:

Rock Band, GTA Chintown Wars, Blades Of Fury, DDR, Hero Of Sparta, Dungeon Hunter, Jules Vernes Mysterious Isle (both parts, "Secrets" and "Return"), World Series Hold'em Poker...

None of this games need an update. All games are stable, bug free or nearly bug free (I don't care if there are 1-2 minor bugs) and good designed.

Even if I would like added content, I don't feel there's need - because the game was already worth the money I spent.

LOL! Nice find - yeah, compared to lord-sams sig...:

is his statement absolutely rubbish.... rofl.

Albie09: congrats - you gave me the best laugh for today...

But I think lord-sam is waiting for Sims World Adventures, BIA2, Mirrors Edge and Assassin's Creed 2 because he wants to boycott them all. And he can't when they aren't released yet. :D
