Why are some of our favorite iPhone games not on the iPad?

I'm kinda bummed to see that some of the favorites that we loved on the iPhone / iPod touch are nowhere to be seen on the iPad. Examples?

    Sway
    Textropolis
    Rolando
    Doodle Jump
    Peggle
    Trism
    Pocket God

That is but a few and I realize there are a lot more. Before I get the obligatory d-bag responses like "all of those games are available just play in 2x mode" or "the developers need time blah blah blah"...
First of all, "2x" mode absolutely sucks and second of all, the developers have had the same amount of time as all of the other developers who have already released their games to play natively on the iPad.

So is it safe to say there will never be an iPad version of the above mentioned games? If the dev's are not already aware, there is money to be made, whether they completely redesign their game, or whether they release their game as-is, just enlarged to fit the larger screen.

I just saw in the "upcoming games" section that Qwiboo will have an iPad version of Aqua Globs. I guess it's just a matter of being patient & waiting.

    Perv, why do you care?
They need an iPad to test. Well, except for Freeverse, ngmoco would get them iPads. Also Poopcrap with Peggle.

  3. That's pretty much it. If a particular dev doesn't have an iPad it would be rather difficult for them to release their apps/games for it.
