Where is an adult group? It really is not such a terrible idea. I'm an adult but obviously have my childish moments. On the other hand I can't stand trolls who spam threads. IMHO gender has nothing to do with it. Someone mentioned girls being stronger in certain areas and boys being stronger in certain areas which developmentally has been proven. This certainly plays a role in various aspects. However, I feel that in time it will be even ground for both male and female minus any stereotypes.
I think that a mainreason why more males than females are playing games, is that most gamedevelopers (still) are males - and they develop games that attract other males. I'm a female and have only been involved in this forum since mid-october. So I don't know many other women here yet. So far I personally have not had any problems of that kind, but maybe I just have been lucky
She started a gimmick account under the name pixyone, and tried to recruit people for her awesome, highly mature Adults of T.A. group. Very mature if you ask me.
My ex gf used to own me at videogames. Once we subscribed to an italian flash games portal which organized constests and gave prizes. I ended fairly well, something like 20th and won a DVD. She ended 2nd and won a bunch of prizes.
She was banned because she made a separate account to plug her Adults of T.A. group. She came into the other Adult group with her new account shortly after i had tried to join hers and got pretty harshly rejected and then raved about the group and told me i should try it out. This is after she told me as Claridosa that if i tried to join again she would report me.. After that fiasco, I'm sort of glad karma found her.
haha the Adults of T.A. group is a joke now. I guess you could call it karma. They said I was immature citing that I joined kunnings fan club posted something and left. Thats the thing a bunch of their members did in the parody adults of TA group. What goes around comes around....except harder
im hoping that Candy and the rest of the people in the group are a little nicer.. Ipodlady and New England gamer certainly seem to be more friendly... maybe i might try to join again now that Claridosa has been removed.
