Borderlands has cell shaded type graphics and it has a lot of action but I don't think it is that violent. Modern Warfare 2 is more bloody and violent with its realistic graphics and animation, and there are disturbing scenes in it.
I herd you can burn and blow people up in borderlands.... Anyway, I ask this because I have MW2, but I am not allowed Borderlands because my dad thinks its more gorry.

I am yet to get Borderlands, although I heard it is worth it. - As for Modern warfare - I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's the most graphic let alone violent game. - I'm just waiting until the day were they release a game where you can rip someones intestines out of them - and you can drag the body around.
MechWarrior 2 was a fantastic game, quite violent, but not so bloody. Then there was the boardgame Borderlands - not much of either, unless you're a little kid, or drunk. So I'll vote MW2 because you get to blow stuff up! (If you don't like my answer, you should have been more specific in your poll! )
There are a few games with intestines in the gib models... and a lot of games you can drag bodies around, I just can't think of any that has both. Maybe Postal 2... The day CoD does it is the day they start running out of ideas
Well, Borderlands had plenty of gore should you use the right weapon and get a critical shot, but it was frequently against non-human opponents and is cartoony. On the other hand, Modern Warfare is realistic and much darker and grittier violence. Add in the mission where you shoot up the airport, and you have one pretty graphic game. For the violence, I vote for Borderlands since MW2 had no gore, but voting for MW2 for graphic just because of its realistic looks and settings.
borderlands is cartoony , MW2 scars people for life if its not the blowing peoples faces off then its the Asian kid verbally abusing you over your headset
