Gmail has worked pretty well for me on my iPod. Their web interface also isn't as cluttered as Yahoo's, which is nice. It's very clean and there aren't any annoying ads.

I use Yahoo!, but mainly because Verizon has a partnership with it. In terms of the performance and interface, They have a new client (right word?) that supposedly has better overall performance and ease of access.

Yahoo. It runs a lot better on the PC/Mac, but on the iOS, everything works pretty similarly. I use AOL as my secondary email, and it's just as effective on the iOS. On the computer, AOL mail sucks.

  7. For mobile mail, it's Gmail. Been using it seemingly forever. Never needed anything else, really -- I barely even use my ISP-provided addresses.

I'd say Gmail. I've used Yahoo before and I prefer Gmail over Yahoo.

I still express genuine surprise whenever I find out people ever took Yahoo seriously. That goes for pretty much all of its services.

I started with MSN/Hotmail and also got a GMail account when that came along. Now I have one Hotmail account for general use (signing up to websites, giving to people I don't trust 100%), one Hotmail account for money-related tasks (Paypal, online purchases) and a GMail account for restricted/private spam-free use.

I've got gmail, comcast, and At&t. You cannot register for the Touch Arcade forums using a @sbcglobal.net email address though. Nobody would even be here if that was the only email provider they used.

I would agree that it's probably easiest just to go with gmail.

Got hotmail for TA, FB, twitter... Out of my surpise that seems TA is really spam friendly and never send an email to me after the register active notification. :D

I don't know if they have this on iOS, but K-9 Mail on Android can combine all your inboxes, which is a great feature.

Yeah iOS has that. It added that in, I think in iOS 4.

Anyways, I use gmail. Yahoo makes me pay for reading my emails offline on Apple Mail.

Gmail since it was in the "closed" beta. No complaints, no problems, no issues -- sticking with it. :)
