Yes, I'm just unreasonable and pedant for calling out a fallacy. It's not that Jade Empire isn't a big deal (it actually is), it's the bit about "setting a new precedent for mobile games". Cmon, dial down in the victim card, I haven't even said anything to make you think I'm on your throat. Why are you being so defensive?
First off, I'm not a mod, nor a writer, nothing. So, as a simple member, like you, realize this..."fallacy" is an awful strong word.... It was in the last paragraph of his weekly post. It was a secondary thought. We, the members, blew this up simply because we get excited over this type of thing. If you're not pumped, move along. Lastly, it's a major title, by a major dev, published by an even more major company (EA). So yes, the precedent here, could in fact be insanely good for mobile. Seriously.
Fair enough, maybe fallacy is too much of a strong word. Doesn't mean you don't need an awful lot of wording gymnastics to justify that sentence, but eh. I didn't mean to start a rant, I'm excited about the game, but let's be honest here, there's no new precedent being set here, at least not one worth noticing. Keep on being excited all of you, it's a great game.

Sweet. Jade empire is an awesome port. I'm always amazed that we are already playing xbox and some 360 games on iOS.
Jade Empire is huge. A truly excellent and fun rpg. If you never played, assuming the port is good, you will love it! Hopefully it comes out soon. Haven't played it in years!
