Biggest disappointment? Definitely no new MGS game. Touch is what we get, yet PSP gets Peace Walker, which is amazing!!??? Also, the MC:S update too.
Yeah, the MG game we got was CRAP! It would have been a good game if it weren't trying to be a Metal Gear game... I'm not even calling it part of the series. Thank God I have a PSP, Peace Walker is insane. I got the demo and will buy this game on the day of release. And if anyone remembers the game Faceoff, that's the biggest bust ever. It was supposed to be this awesome third person shooter with a multiplayer-like deathmatch gameplay, but it failed horribly and has an average of 2.5 stars the last I remember. I don't think half of you will actually remember this game.
My $0.02 Dexter - Too short, no sign of updates. Skies of Glory - Pricing simply ridiculous. Last, but probably most notably: Apples execution of in-app purchasing! Great concept, but poor deployment.
I have vague memories of it.... -tries to remember- Hmmmm... Oh, yeah! That did stink. And, yes, Peace Walker is awesome. Will get too.
Zen Bound Fieldrunners [I bought it this year, wasted money] iBlast Moki NFL 10 [A bug which prevents me from playing the 4th quarter] Car Jack Streets Some more to add But definately Zen Bound at the top, man people said it was the greatest game at the time. Maybe they got mixed up with greatest and "most boring"
Touch KO For all the hype and praise it got, it's nothing but a 5-fps underwater boxing game for kindergarten kids. The moves are repetitive, AI is a joke, movement feels awkward and above all it's a vapourware. The developer promised this and that in the upcoming update then disappeared once enough people bought their lies. The spotlight should've been given to Iron Fist Boxing, which unfortunately due to limited resources and fund can't pay review sites like TA, pocketgamer or slidetoplay to write about it. What a shame.
Fieldrunners was a decent game, just not enough content, however now that they've added more content, they want money for it. So I guess it is a bust.
Yeah, I do. The title was a pun because it was literally faces facing it off... hehe. But yeah, there was some hype, but nobody really bought it. We thought the screenshots looked good. It came out. Got a lukewarm to bad reception. Didn't really take off. Biggest bust for me? Hybrid: Eternal Whisper. Jesus Christ, I was hyped for a combat RPG with great graphics. I would've accepted great pixel art graphics. Or good graphics, great gameplay. Or good graphics, good gameplay. I got crap and -$6.
- Lets see a 2-man team do a better job than Josh & Russ did. - MG had quite a few faults, but with recent updates its actually pretty good now - EC..what?? That game was great - DH, I'm not even going to comment. You didn't like iBlast Moki?? Really?.. Damn.
Fieldrunners came out in 2008 though and at the time it came out it was pretty damn good imo. Someone else said Faceoff and I agree, that game was definitely a huge bust. Minigore was pretty much a bust but I guess the updates have redeemed it a little bit. Monopoly Here and Now was lame. Took them long enough to come out with the original. MC:S multiplayer updates Duke Nukem controls... they're playable and I went through most of the game but it would have been so much better with smooth controls like NOVA or MC
I think you were tryna quote BR but yeah those two are a couple of knuckleheads for sure. I read that thread once in awhile just to get some laughs haha. Ginababe seems like Terrorist's lackey lol
if a 2 man developing team wanted to make a good game, they shouldn't have tried to make such an ambitous game. It didn't totally suck...but I waisted 7 dollars.
