As someone else said, the hype around this game hasn't come from the devs, it's come from the beta testers and fans of their other games. As such, I think this type of hype is more believable-if that's the right word-than the hype from major devs over what amounts to tech demos *cough* Epic *cough*. I truly liked Ravenloft a lot. I think the fact it wasn't perfect made me like it even more and it certainly seemed to be a labor of love. Rimelands was a different story for me. I liked the game, but the game ending bugs killed any goodwill I had towards it. I think that's my only trepidation with Aralon, are bugs. I expect some, but just hope they're not the type that plagued Rimelands for myself and others. Still, it's going to be an insta buy.
