Obviously there are a lot of iPhone users on this site but I thought it might be interesting to see what phones iPod Touch owners are using. I'm currently using the Sony Ericsson c902 and I'm delighted with it. It feels pretty solid in the hand and it's got a great camera to boot.
LG Dare. Hopefully Verizon gets a better line-up this summer when my contract expires. This phone is by no means bad, it's got great call quality, but I'm just not a fan of it.
Sony Ericcson Z750. It's got the neat holographic display, but other than that it's a pretty-average phone. I liked my Z500a a lot better, and damn them for changing their adapter plug, rendering all my old stuff obsolete. Double-damn them for creating a USB computer cable that neither charges the phone from the computer, nor has a pass-through power port (like the old serial cable.) When my wife got her iPhone, she felt bad that I got an iPod Touch instead (she loves her iPhone to pieces) but I still like having a phone and a PDA (I bought the iPod to replace my Handspring Visor Prism, which finally died this year. )
i use an iPhone.. Why buy a iTouch and also another phone, seems like a waste of money and pocket real estate. "oh but AT&T sucks" well, all carriers suck equally, ever considered that? "oh but.." oh just shut up..
First of all, let me state that all LG's are terrible. Went through too many to count, im finished with them. I have the Blackberry pearl flip, it was alright, untill i dropped it and i lost sms... so i have this now, and im suprised at how solid it is for such an old phone, i love it!
LG Shine. It's very durable, dropped it couple of times for 5ft onto conrete can still works perfect.
Samsung e900 I've had older phones and newer phones, went through a load of Sony Ericssons... nothing comes close to this. Best UI ever in a non-smartphone in my opinion.
I use the Mobira Talkman Can't quite fit it in my pocket and the service is a bit spotty, but it's a complete chick magnet, and that automatically makes lugging around a 10 pound monstrosity totally worthwhile.
Main reason I don't have an iPhone is because I already run out of battery fast enough with my iPod, I can't imagine how fast it would run out if I used it as a phone too. Plus I don't like touch screen phones that much.
Yeah, I think it's Verizon's best phone and the closest they'll get to an iphone until they actually get an iphone. That said, if they decide to release a verizon iphone next year, I might be willing to pay the ETF to switch to that.
