Yeah I hate these threads. The point of a game forum, IMO, isn't to throw down games it's to talk about the ones you love. To all the IB commenters, like it was said before, infinity blade did exactly what epic wanted. I hate when people hype a game they've never seen before and get upset when it's not what they wanted. IB is the perfect example. Everyone wanted a huge RPG/Action game and they got IB. Personally, I enjoy the game and I am very pleased that epic is supporting it.
I'll probably say it too. The game has an excellent graphic background but is no as deep gameplay as i had expected.
DaDramaLlama just said...on this very page...GAH never mind. You expected the deep gameplay. Chair and TA reported post after post that it was a sword-fighting game designed for the iOS with a few customizations allowed. TA even stated numerous times that it was not a deep, action RPG of any kind..never mind.
I agree. At first, i expected it would be a very deep and difficult game, however, it let me down. That's why it's less popular than most other simple games.
Um it was in the top 10 at $5.99 for two months nearly. It's only less popular than let's say, Angry Birds, because most AppStore shoppers are cheap and consider anything above $0.98 too much. Three months later, it's in the top 10 again for $5.99 due to a recent update. Please have some idea of what you're talking about before you post.
Backtothis OWNED ever complainer in this thread . Thanks for the masterpiece and the laughs backtothis.
And I bet it's in the top ten again more because of the $3 sale rather than the update because AppStore shoppers are cheap like that, including me. :C
Um, I'm pretty sure it's some of both actually. Apple gave it a frontpage feature on iTunes and a feature under New and Noteworthy games near the very top of the list. This has nothing to do with what I was responding to in any case. But yeah, I'm pretty sure a good deal of is due to the feature. Take Aralon for example. The update granted it another feature by Apple. This brought the game within the top 75 from 200+ at $9.99, a price higher than what it was three months ago.
