What game should be ported to the iPhone?

Final Fantasy games up to 6 and Tactics are totally doable. FF7 and above might not quite be.

- 2D version of Zero
- 2.5D version of Devil May Cry
- The Worlds Ends with You
- Dragon Quest Swords
- Fire Emblem

 

Hmm.... I have most of the console game so I don't wish someone to port any old title to iPhone. Just want them to create something news and impressive enough!

 

BTW, Fire Emblem is an exception since we have only a few thing kinds of game.

 

Fire Emblem = AHAHAHAHAHA um, no. Why are people so naively optimistic? Especially you, Aurora? I thought you would understand.. Fire Emblem is a Nintendo product. Yes, its from Camelot, but its too closely associated with Nintendo.. there's no WAY it's going anywhere but the DSi..

A 2d version of Resident evil with nes graphics will make a lot of forum members happy seeing.

 

Well, maybe we should stick to games which are not totally unrealistic to be ported. Basically i´d love to see many of the old Amiga Classics. Pinball Dreams already got ported and i´m lovin every inch of it. Pushover would be a sweet puzzle game, maybe we get it sooner or later. This game is no push over for sure. Anyone remember "The Lost Vikings"? Decent game aswell.

Sins of a Solar Empire should be ported over to the Idevice. Thee best Space RTS ever made in the history of Space RTSs. Go check it out and you will see what I am talking about.

 

Why would nes graphics make us happy the iphone is capable of a lot more then that

Why not? I agree though, not much reason to "reduce" a game to Pixel Graphics if it wasnt originally shipped that way. Speaking about the NES: Castlevania (the first one) was great on that console, Konami should do an 1:1 Port. No updated GFX please. Also "Lemmings" would be great to have, but i doubt that one will ever appear on the Appstore.

 

I would like to see fuzion frenzy from the xbox. I am a sucker for mini games and there are some fun ones in fuzion frenzy. fuzion frenzy 2 is cool too, but twisted system on the original is way better.

other than that, maybe make super monkey ball more like banana blitz from the wii with more mini games.

I think a lot of people would love to see mario kart too and I am one of them.

 

I think the VERY needed game on the iphone is a decent TPS. The one and only, the epic super awsome mega galactic game of all time. Max Payne. Full stop.

I'd love to see a game like Baseball Mogul, or even a Steel Panthers, ported.

Especially Steel Panthers, I've been holding out on something like it (and something simpler than it, incidentally), but i have a feeling it won't happen.

And Baseball Mogul, well, that game sucks up my computers CPU...Takes quite a bit to simulate and record each stat for every from MLB to single A and Rookie leagues.
