Death Rally A simple, top-down racing game with rpg elements in that you can upgrade your vehicle with armor/weapons and purchase a new/faster vehicle. (this above pic is very low res - the game looks much better than this)
Ultima Underworld and Full Throttle ! Heck Ultima Underworld was already ported to PocketPC in 2002 by a developer that currently makes games for iphone, Zio Interactive. But no response to my email about it...
I thought i saw something in the app store that looked similar to Pokemon Snap, called Photo Safari. Im not sure though, as i didn't get it.
Other than outlandish wishes that'll never come true, a game that I like that actually could be ported over to the iPhone/iPod touch is Alien Hominid: this platform is home to 2D sidescrolling shooters; the game has great 2D graphics; and moving with a virtual D-pad and shooting with a gun analog stick would be perfect. Essentially, it'd be another Zombieville-like offering. My two cents.
ok, i know i already said commander keen IV V and VI(best games on any platform from any time ever!) but i'd give my left nut for quake one as well, and i think id are doing it anyway!

Mario Kart will never happen(same for Zelda), though it would put all the half assed kart racers on the iPhone to shame.
I think a multiplayer only version of Call Of Duty is much needed. 6 player limit with maps slightly larger than Modern Combat, 3 Vs 3 team modes, rankings, classes, and Gameloft style controls. Their iPhone engine already runs Nazi Zombies very well, you can tell it's highly optimized by how small the download is.
Thought I'd say a more possible title, since all of these suggestions are next gen console games. I guess toned down ports could be made but whatevs. I want Pokemon Puzzle Challenge. That game was the BEST match three puzzle game ever made. SO FUN. Also Final Fantasy games, but that, as pointed out before, is impossible. Pokemon games would be great. Some type of MMO. A well made turn based JRPG like Dragon Quest or something like that.
All of the above would be great. It's hard not to mention a game that others haven't already. I would have to say 3xtreme from the ps1 I used to love that game.
