YES! YES YES YES YES YES APPLESAUCE! I love the Lunar series to pieces, and i'd love to see it, or something similar on the iPhone! You wouldn't even have to worry about the company, since Working Designs is defunct and Game Arts isn't that big.
1. Monster hunter 2. Borderlands, or some kind of rpg fps. 3. Commander Keen. I would kill to play this game on my iPone, literally kill!
Fallout 1 & 2 (because you're dreaming in technicolor if you expect gamebryo to run on an idevice) and the original Diablo (convert movies to screens with text, shrink the music tracks and it can be ~150 mb). Of course the interface / UI would have to be revamped otherwise the text would be too small to read, not to mention all the licensing bullish... but one can dream!
I wonder if Namco would consider bringing Tower of Druaga to the iPhone? I realize its not as popular here as Pacman or Galaga, but its a simple, interesting RPG/puzzle game..
A game that would port over well I think would be Star Control II was a space scfi action rpg from 1992...it was brilliant...it had some of the best mod music...you know you are getting old when you had mods .. read the wiki for the story, the game play was played out in real time exploring the universe meeting new alien races to help or impede you on your way...when you met up with other races a dialog tree would pop up and depending on what you say effects the outcome of being an ally or an enemy, if you have to fight it jumps to a top down view 2d side scroller where its you vs the enemy, this is where the game shines....as there are about 25 races each with a different type of ship different special attacks and defense moves... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Control_II
Mazes of Fate. This was a great underrated RPG on the GBA which would work well on the ipod touch. ya that would be sweet, i know about that site , since the game is older they recompiled it to run on current systems... the game is brilliant...
My best friend is like the biggest fan ever, hes the one who convinced me to download it from that site.
How about Crysis, World in Conflict, World of Warcraft and The Witcher - to mention some. iPhone can handle those games, yes? Seriously, things are starting to get a bit out of hand here I'd like to see a good port of Heroes of Might and Magic I/II or III. I didn't really like Palm Heroes.
