I wouldn't mind some heart of darkness or some of the Oddworld series. Also some of the Mission Based sim games wouldn't go amiss I think (GBA: Sims Busting out, urbs, Sims2 )

I love these threads, they show true ignorance for everyone involved but myself. Most of these suggestions are pure lunacy. Before you post, please do some basic research. If it's Nintendo intellectual property (IP) it will never see the light of day as an official app due to Nintendo not wanting to butcher possible DS title sales. That means no Mario titles. Same goes for any Sony IP. Forget about seeing Little Big Planet on the iPhone. Not going to happen. Developer shops like SEGA who currently don't have a console and have already released a title or two based upon their IP titles are your best bet. Also, the large game development companies are going to always, always, always run the numbers before even thinking about porting a title to the iPhone. They have to take into consideration their bottom-line and Return-On-Investment (ROI). If it's going to cost more to get the title on the iPhone than they would recoup in sales (remember Apple's cut, kids) then it's not going to happen. Remember, a development company has to either find good iPhone developers or build an in-house iPhone dev team. Then they have to purchase hardware and software. Then they have to pay those same developers during the whole time they are working on a title or even just learning how to create apps for the iPhone. And if they don't get it right the first time out of the gate then negative reviews will affect sales. It's risky. Those major developers already have Xbox 360 and/or PS3/Wii developers they have to pay and the returns or losses on titles for those consoles are already extensively calculated by the bean counters so they are a known factor in game development. A two-person Mom and Pop startup working on a $2 title will recoup their initial startup losses ($2000 iMac + $100 Apple Developer Program fee + time) much faster and make profit much faster than a major development company will. They only have to sell about 3000 units of a game to not only break even but make a tidy profit as well. Over time as more and more new users discover their game then that Mom-and-Pop operation will see additional returns on their investment for little to no work whereas a large developer will go through those returns in a day due to their large operating overhead. It doesn't matter what game you want to play on your iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch 3rd gen, if it's not profitable nor in the company's best interests then it will not happen.
Was about to say the same thin myself, so Mr. iBall, where would you like you're "I'm awesome" medal sent?
oh... did you already say that?... i wasnt insulting you or anything. ahaha i just said it myself....
No disrespect but I pray they never do. It requires a reaction time that the touchscreen just can't do unless a controller is used. As much of a MHF fanboy I am...I just dont see it executed correctly on this device; and getting a controller kind of takes all the soul away from the iTouch. I would like to see Fat Princess though. That would work perfect on the touch. Yeah I said it again.
