The iPhone 4 and iOS 4 are already out and haven't been out that long, but let's look ahead toward the future for a minute. I know a lot of people that were both disappointed with the firmware and the iPhone itself. So next year when the new firmware and iPhone are released, what do you expect? Here are some of the questions that I am pondering: Questions 1. Will there be an iPhone 4S/4GS like the 3GS from the preceding year instead of a brand new iPhone 5? 2. Will Apple finally dump AT&T and go to T-Mobile or Verizon?
That reminds me of what my dad said the other day. Do you want to know why Apple releases their updates in such big files instead of little add ons? Because they want everything to run smoothly. That's why there always better than Microsoft, because Microsoft just has little ad ons, which makes the update crash. Don't flame me, cause I had a PC and it always crashed and got all glitchy after a small add on update.
yeah, its a great business move, but it sucks for consumers. say you bought a 1Gen iPod Touch, its not even compatible anymore with iOS 4, what a rip! Sure you should buy a new one, but having to buy a new one every 2 years? Thats unbelievable@!
- An easily accessible 'memory card' folder for game saves. You should be able to access it from iTunes, and without devs having to do any extra work. - An actual game demo feature so we can purge all of the Lite apps from the store.
Jailbreak themes are so much better though, you can get the slide icon on the lock screen to be different, video backgrounds, and even being able to change the wifi bars, apple should try that, and also, Nike+ is a pain, because not everyone uses nikes
Good statement, you know what else would be nice, the ability to put 20 or more apps in the dock. Swipe through to see your apps without going to the next page of the springboard. Kinda like how you swipe through multitasking without turning the page.
It shall be the iPhone V! V being the roman numeral 5, and standing for Verizon. I hope. If not, I'll be disappointed. I'm guessing it'll be faster, and have some other new stuff. As for iOS 5, just speed improvements and the like, maybe better multitasking, but there's not much I really want added. Maybe an option to have a free-form desktop? (Oooh, and widgets) (especially for iPad) (but that might be in iPad os 4.0)
For the next iPhone, I'd like to see a slightly bigger screen, a SD/MicroSD card port, a better battery and a better camera/flash (especially in low light conditions). I can't really think of much else right now. The iPhone 4 has improved things enormously for me - my previous phone was an original iPhone.
I think an sd card slot would be nice...so you could transfer pics from your camera and expand space...bigger screen defiantly. some kind of file handling...wireless sync...better speakers...ill think of more later
The ability to respond to a text directly from the prompt that pops up when you receive the text. IE when you are using an app and you receive a text you can just press reply on the prompt and the keyboard will come up and you can reply without leaving what you were doing, like the Cydia app.
