How am I SPOILED?? Lol how old are you? Sorry if I thought the appvent apps were a huge dissapointment.. who cares if theyre free... people with jobs can afford games much better, I already have paid apps I'd always play over this.. maybe if I was 11 and had to nickel and dime my way thru the app store.. but I'm not. Not sure of the point unless people are really into these little puzzle and simple flash-like games when there are way better ones for mere pocket change vs. your iDevice Just seems like a way for all of the small apps to get their way back into the spotlight.. but this isnt for this thread, its for my thread o' truth
I'm most likely much older than you, only small, spoiled children go around criticizing free apps. Nickel and dime my way through the app store? I've spent around $200 in the past two months alone, so I wouldn't say that I'm a cheap person... The point of the appvent calendar was to give consumers something to look forward to each day. Yes, there were some bad apps, but we were all appreciative enough to keep our mouths shut. You however, did not get what you wanted, so you started a thread to bitch about it. That was really low. Just because you didn't get what you wanted does not mean that the games on the calendar "SUX"
and also got boned again can't believe that damn shaman on acid managed to contaminate other threads!
Sorry I dont care about the price whatsoever, its like an Advent Calender filled with broccolli also thanks but ive said countless times: Im good on the h-job fest
i wish they could have just released that on day one and saved me so much wasted time and Ill contribute until the appvent is done seriously good on these brocolli apps tho, wheres the good stuff?
im not happy its over, I just wish the game selection was focused on better games rather than as promo (i know some people like some of the games, but id say 3/4 of that stuff would not stay on your iphone for long)
Who's that stomping under my bridge... Look, It is what it is and it is what it will be... Why cant you just be appreciative that the Appvent Calendar even exist? Why complain? Its free. Blacksmith Games should be rewarded somehow from apple or TA for taking the time to get devs to get into the Xmas spirit and offer something they have worked so hard on just to make people happy. I personally want to take the time to acknowledge first Blacksmith games as well as all the Devs for sharing your passions with us consumers. It doesn't go unnoticed and because of it I thank you. @Acidshaman no disrespect but you have lost all credibility making a thread like this...what a Ufcking scrooge. This thread seriously should be locked. Bah Humbug.
rofl Im Scrooge? because I want BETTER apps for ALL? The appvent was nothing more than a promotional thing, its hilarious seeing people that REALLY think dev's are losing cash and missing meals and telling their kids no presents for christmas because of it
It's not only promotion, if that's all it was then why bother with the Christmas theme? They could do it all year round, they don't need the calendar there to offer up free apps. Yes there's promotion involved, but that promotion still required developers to give away potentially hundreds of copies of their game for absolutely nothing. In fact, the bigger the promotion got, the more money they'd be losing, so it almost works against them. There's definitely some festive spirit in there, no matter how greedy you suggest these devs are. ...and to be honest, you are being a bit of a Scrooge, because in your insistence that this is nothing more than free publicity, you seem to have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas yourself. Some people do like to give.
Wow kid. What the hell is wrong with you. You are one thick headed scrooge troll. Of course devs are losing money on the days it is free you dipshit. Minisquadron was doing pretty well I emagine and they lost prolly around a couple hundred because of this. So while you bitch about other people giving you their hard work for free, I'd like to see you make a bowl of ramen noodles and give out to the hobo you call your box buddy.
