oh my gosh! spy fox is amazing! is still play those!!!! i agree, they totally got me into point and click!!!
Lol if you still have the discs I can walk you through putting them on your device if you have it jailbroken. Such fun games, I beat all 3 of them multiple times as a kid.
just asking what is your favorite? i like dry cereal the best. but the second one, with the theme park (the name escapes me) is awesome too. but the third is still amazing, the ozone one...
runescape would be amazing and perfectly doable it could play the normal detail mode with no lag at all and the high detail with little lag on previous devices and no lag at all on the 3gs and 3rd gen touch
Some Assembly Required (2nd one) was the best. I couldn't beat that first room for the longest time, but when I did, awesome game. dry Cereal was an awesome game as well. I didn't like Operation Ozone much... It was a fun game but not as good as the others. And I have to add another game to my list. BROKEN SWORD 2!!!!! I just beat the Director's Cut of the original, and it might be the best adventure game I've ever played. Wow, that game just blew my mind. I need to play the second one NOW!
-X-COM: UFO Defense -Age of Empires 2 -Commandos -Desperados -Half Life -Rome: Total War -Company of Heroes -The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall -Grim Fandango -Diablo -Mafia -Warcraft III -Rayman 2
OH YEA! some assembly required! That one was awesome. Ok that one was actually my favorite maybe because it was just so random at times! Operation ozone, you are right, wadded not as good, but it's still spy fox, so it's still amazing! But dry cereal isthe original so I have to stick with that as my fav just because it's so classy. Man, I really want to play spy fox right now. I wish they would get ported. I would buy them intantly. Oh and u said broken sword was great? Itson my want list, but I have toomany games to play that I already have, I feel like I should just wait for a drop. I mean, BASS went down to a dollar....
someone should definitely port swords vs sandals. Its a really addicting turn-based gladiator fighting game, with bosses and weapon/armor upgrades. I also think popcap should port bookworm adventures, its way better than the original IMO- the worm kills monsters, for crissake.
no, no they didnt- i have all rollercoaster tycoon games and the 3d ones are the best! You can even screw with the customers (eg. build a hill and make them slide down to their deaths, drown them, frighten them by blowing up their balloons, etc.) The scenery is much improved so are the rides.
You know, there's several PC games I would love to see well done on the iTouch/iPhone, like X-Com:UFO Defense, but the problem is that nearly all the games I can think of, even an 8" monitor would kill the game to the point where it's not really that enjoyable any more. I think this because nearly all the games I enjoy are intricate, complex, and expansive. The maps are large, there's a lot of icons on the screen, and gameplay is long. This would require at LEAST the iPad to be any fun in my opinion. It's like watching HD video on the iPhone...why bother with HD? The PC games I love utilize the complexity that a PC allows and the iTouch/iPhone do not allow that. However, there are some web games that do not have any complexity at all, like Bookworm, Chuzzle, Gem Shop, and online Hold'em. I know Bookworm already is an app, I think Chuzzle is, I wish Gem Shop were, and I'm guessing there's no online Hold'em app, right? I mean, where you get the normal 52 card deck, and play with either play or real money against other players. Anyways, that's my two cents. I think it was amazing that they made Battle for Wesnoth although whenever I think of playing it on the iTouch, I just go ahead and play it on the computer. I enjoy the large screen much more.
