jesh! some updates are taking 4 hours but this app is taking over 6!?!?! Damn....probably because its online
Due to the nature of the app it might be a long approval process, it might be rejected, or ngmoco might just be holding it after approval. In any case it could be a while before we get to play it. We might as well be patient.
Given the previous nature of releases, ngmoco may be wondering why this game is not creating too much hype. I hope consumers gives them a message that freemium is not the way to go!
dude, whats wrong with freemium? ESPECIALLY in a game like this. perhaps it was poorly done with their FPS but here it seems like spending money kind of ruins the experience buy making it too easy...
The make it freemium because the had like 70% piracy rates for rolando. It's slot harder to crack in app purchases and hard to implement it. The reason piracy was so rampant because it was so easy.
As a ngmoco fan, I 2nd that. Not to fond of the TouchPets model what so ever. Sad because I really enjoyed TouchPets but couldn't stand having a narcoleptic dog. -__- I really am hoping for the best for bot We Rule and Godfinger.
I wish we could play it without having to be connected online. Couldn't you make it so that we can play offline and then when we connect online it updates it our account for everyone else?
You don't need a persistant connection... Only to ping for friends kingdoms.... How does a freemium model even remotely suggest that a persistant connection is required?
Sry for double post. Yes I agree the freemium model for touchpets was crap, but this game doesn't require any kind of purchase at all to get the full experience... All it does is speed up the construction of businesses or growth of crops. It is not required to play at all, in fact I'm glad that they are going freemium seems like an excellent way to market (unless they have unsightly ads in the game)
"Like Touch Pets Dogs, We Rule is an online only game so requires a persistent network connection in order to play." From touch arcades preview of it.
Having seen that I concede that point, however I still don't see the point of persistant connection...
