But that's exactly what i'm saying...everyone is just quick to deny vg just because they think it's a complete ripoff.
well after a purchase of FN im none the wiser as to which i prefer. the polish in FN is better than VS by quite a bit, for that reason alone i think i enjoy picking up FN a little bit more even though its technically not the better game. i love the VS harmony mode over the zen mode in FN, thats my personal preference. the unlockables in FN are quite cosmetic and dont really enhance the experience fer me. i'll happily play both tbh!
All wrong! They did in fact do all of this, as well as leave a holographic shadow trail whenever they dashed. I do. It shows attention to detail, broccoli has no juice!
Well it's been shiz approved so now i'm pretty excited...i'm guessing ur a beta tester? Has the update been submitted? Wow seriously? who really cares if broccoli has juice or not. it's a game and people care if it's fun, not if like broccoli has juice or bananas have juice or anything. If you didn't like vs as much because of graphics and stuff i could understand but the juice that comes out of differen't food? Seriously??
Well...I like VS a lot but am somewhat troubled by the monstrous size of the broccoli. I mean, that is seriously a mutant. And the Eggplant is so skinny its like a stringbean. And its fairly oddly colored as well. The other veggies look fine to me.
Please don't make such defamatory comment when got no facts. Have you even tried paper ninja to make such comment? What I am saying here is all based on my personal opinion after playing all three of them. I will say it again: Paper Ninja is currently the best of them and I am not related to the devs!
What's so silly about people up in arms about Veggie Samurai being a ripoff, is that Fruit Ninja itself was not the first "slash flying objects" game. It is just the first that managed to take off and become a big hit. Theme-wise, I suspect most folk would agree that fruits are cooler than veggies, and ninja are cooler than samurai. Veggie Samurai incorporates a lot of unique aspects, including gameplay modes, realtime rendered graphics, slices that actually reflect the direction of your slice, multi-slicing, dicing. It's a slightly slower paced game, but works well with their gameplay/scoring system, and if VS had come out first, I think it's likely that it would be much higher in the charts, with people complaining that Fruit Ninja is "too fast" with "limited gameplay modes."

ok, forgetting all the controversy and my previous animosity towards veggie samurai, now that i've finally played it i'll give my honest and fair opinion. fruit ninja is better. sure, veggie samurai has more modes, but in both games, i only really play the classic mode. i dont find zen mode that fun and all the other modes in VS seem like rushed gimmicks to me (i mean they even added a match 3 mode! honestly dudes?) i do quite like the dicing though, which is why i come back to VS once in a while. i prefer fruit ninja though, because of two things. firstly, is the speed of the game, which i much prefer. secondly, the dojo is awesome. if there's one thing i like more than achievements, it's achievements which earn you something other than useless OF points. don't get me wrong though, VS is fun but just not as great as FN. then again i might be subconsiously prejudiced against veggie samurai.

I addressed that part because it was a ridiculous comment. But fine, going back to his original point, Comment after comment about it being ripped off that had stopped. Just yanking your chain man. Alright here's the real talk, I like the multi-slice of VS and I have FN on my wishlist. VS is fun, and FN looks fun as well, they aren't groundbreaking titles, but for ADD fixes they work. Only reason I will eventually buy FN is for the unlockables, you get different backgrounds and swords right? Or is that iPad only?
