It sounds like the package is still circling around the warehouse.

Actually, this is depends. Often times, the package will arrive directly at the distribution center responsible for delivering the package to you. Other times, however, the package is dropped at another location that is then responsible for routing it to the distribution center that actually delivers it to you. This adds another day or two to your package delivery time.

    I hope that helps.

Well, part of the issue, and I'm guessing here, is that the package came from outside of the former British penal colony known as Australia so it faces customs clearance.

Whoa, that thing has some frequent flyer miles to it. Give it another day or two because it's cleared customs so now it just needs to be delivered. I'm guessing you'll have it tomorrow.

It's just annoying because there is no way to check whether it's actually left Alexanadria yet.

USPS tracking is kind of useless half the time. Fedex and UPS tracking is a whole lot more intuitive, while USPS is mostly gibberish.

Shipping internationally seems like a huge headache. I am so glad my packages only have to roam around the states for the most part. I'm sorry for you that it has been such a hassle, hope you get it soon. :)

I hate USPS with a passion. I got two videogames from eBay. USPS pretty much said this place didn't exist, lost $15 in shipping on one game (Arkham Asylum), and $33 (Fallout 3) which never arrived, and the user that sold it to me deactivated his account. Tracking isn't the only thing they screw up.

Something magical just happened. The iPad was still circling around the warehouse in Sydney, when it arrived at my house!!!!!

Trully? USPS has been quite good! Sure, the tracking sucks, but it made it!!

Now to see if the screen is cracked :/
