The Universe is some ideas for a puzzle/simulation game for the idevices that challenges you to create and manipulate gravity and singularities in order to manage ideal situations for intelligent life to form. The first 3 stages are like mini games Stage 1 - tap on the singularity until you cause the big bang Stage 2-determine when to stop the rapid expansion Stage 3- draw circles to manipulate gravity to pull matter together and create galaxies Stage 1 just a mini game the faster you tap the quicker it explodes but has no effect on the overall game play and resources on the playing field. Stage 2 the longer you let the universe expand the more matter you get to play with but the less time you have to create life before the universe reaches a threshold and either expands out of existence or collapses back into itself causing the singularity again and both of those depend on how long you let it expand, if it collapses back into itself you can create another big bang and try again but if it expands or explodes out of existence then its gameover for that universe and you have to create a new one. Stage 3 There is two things that effect overall game play: 1 - the amount of galaxies you make 2- and the size of the galaxies You have to make a certain amount of galaxies respective to the amount of matter you let form in stage 2 by drawing circles on the screen to manipulate gravity and form galaxies if you make too many or not enough the universe will become unstable and either collapse or completely exploded/expand and if it explodes then it will cease to exist forcing the gamer to create a new universe. The galaxies have to be a certain size as well or they will become unstable and either collapse or explode if you make them too small they will collapse or too big and they will explode if they collapse then it causes a very powerful rip in the universe that will slowly draw in other galaxies and basically swallow them up back into the singularity, if they explode their matter is scattered and can be caught by the gravity of the other galaxies. of course you can skip these stages and randomize the playing field and there will be guides and on screen bars/gauges that represent the effects of each decision and the ideal conditions you want to create. Once the galaxies are formed the game begins as a simulation that is a puzzle to try and figure out the right combination of balance, objects and resources to manage the formation of intelligent life within the time limit of your universe's life span. From here on out you can basically create objects to micro manage everything Of course you can just sit there and all of the objects in every galaxy will eventually form at random or you can manually create and organize each object as you see fit, you can't however slow, speed up or pause time. Galaxy Each galaxy is set with a limited amount of resources depending on size and each universe will have a life span if you made it too big or too small and therefore unstable. a stable universe is more then capable of lasting the entire life span of the universe if managed correctly unless it happens to collide with another universe or becomes unstable from mis management Once a galaxy is formed all of its matters is trapped in orbit around a super huge black hole you create nebulae by drawing circles in and around the orbit of the super black hole. you can create X amount of nebulae depending on how big you made the universe there is 2 kinds of nebulae that you can create depending on how big you draw the circles: 1- stable 2- unstable A stable nebula creates a single stable star with a healthy solar system but does so very slowly, the star it creates will be a very stable star that will go thru its phases very slowly these nebulae are ideal and safe for harboring life long enough to reach intelligence and self awareness An un-stable nebula creates random binary systems very fast and these stars will be very unstable stars that can erratically go from one phase to the next and often destroy each other and their solar systems frequently. the object here is to balance the amount of unstable nebulae and stable nebulae, the unstable nebulae are good for creating new materials required to create life and stable nebulae are good for harboring life over long periods of time. when an unstable star explodes that new material is distributed across the galaxy and the unstable nebulae reforms in its place the object is to accumulate X amount of these crucial materials in your galaxy before life and intelligent life can form in your stable and unstable solar systems. Solar systems Each solar system comes with a set amount of matter in orbit around the star the longer you take to create objects within a solar system the more random objects like asteroids there will be making it more volatile to suit life. Once a star is formed the matter is trapped in obit around it, wait to long and some of that matter will get sucked into the star and make it unstable thus changing phases faster and automatically form planets and objects and gravity fields that you can no longer control, do it too soon and you will not have the ideal materials and situations for life sustaining planets. you create planets by drawing circles and tap in the center to form a singularity that will pull the matter together and form a planet the bigger you draw the circle the more matter that gets drawn in, depending on how big you draw the circle and its distance from the sun or other objects in the solar system will determine the type of object it is too big and you end up with a gas giant too small and you end of with a moon or irregular object that might fly out of the solar system or get drawn towards another object or planet ect. Make too many planets and the solar system becomes unstable and volatile for harboring life planets will have decaying orbits smash into each other and fly off into space and don't make enough planets and it will also become unstable. The object here is to balance the stability of the solar system and overall operate two kinds of solar systems by basically manipulating gravity fields within the stars orbit. Operate one kind of solar system from the stable nebulae that is ideal and safe for harboring life and another kind of solar system that is suited for generating the best kind of materials as fast as possible from the unstable nebulae because when a star explodes all of the material created within the star and on the planets is all distributed across the galaxy. Overall Object So the overall object here is to balance stable and unstable nebulae, too many unstable nebulae and the galaxy becomes volatile and not safe to harbor intelligent life, not enough and you will not be able to accumulate the necessary materials needed to form intelligent life and of course you have to keep the galaxy itself stable too many or not enough nebulae no matter what kind they are and the galaxy might become unstable and implode or explode faster and there is also a crucial resourcefulness and time component involved here make an ideal stable and safe nebula too soon and you will not have the necessary accumulated resources for life to form and too late you will not have enough time for intelligent life to form before the life spans of the universe or specific galaxy run out. The only way you interact with the simulation is by creating new objects in space by manipulating matter via drawing circles and tapping in the center to create a singularity and gravity field. You do this to create galaxies, nebulae, and planets.
