We know there are lot of things coming to iphone in OS 4. Apple concentrated only on the major features in their keynote. But there are a lot other features coming like bluetooth keyboard, accelerate, Webkit2 etc.... Lets talk about the features that they didn't announce here. So anyone having OS 4 running on their iphones/ipods, please let us know of these features or minute changes. Please don't talk here about the major features like Multitasking. There are lot other threads for that.
Well they never discussed the new potential of accessories with the bluetooth support. Imagine a landscape flip keyboard case! I'm not sure if it's hidden, but I'm not able to change the home screen image on my 3G. Is this feature only available for 3rd gen devices?

With the bluetooth keyboard suppory added, I think we can expect some new bluetooth profiles. That makes sense with external game controller patent that apple obtained recently. I think we can expect an External game controller from apple soon.

it's also rumored to have ichat support. For those of you with a mac, how does that exactly work? Is it basically just an aim alternative where you can sign on and sign off or is it something that's always on like SMS? I'm wondering if this will be the Blackberry Messenger client/SMS alternative on iphones (assuming if the rumors are true)
Would anyone with a 2 generation iPod Touch tell me whats new in 4.0? I want to know what other features Apple has decided to leave out.
I think it's just multitasking. But, why does it not get multitasking. It also has a faster processor. (between iPhone 3G and 3GS)
It's what Apple does. They make a new software, and make what people really want on there device, and put it in a new generation of that device so they get more money.
not enough memory. when jailbroken I could only run maybe 2 apps with backgrounder along with safari and music and mail.
I'm hoping that's where a playlist can have a reference to a playlist in it rather than just a copy of everything that was in it. So adding/removing something to/from your "miserable '80s" playlist will automatically adjust your "80s playlist" (made from various nested 80 lists) and your "miserable" playlist (a collection of miserable music lists from various decades).
Can anyone tell Me what all these additions mean?! I'm not a tech wiz, so don't understand what most these new things do. I understand the obvious like multitasking and photo book acess but what about automated testing or image I/o, ICC profile etc. ?
