Ahh, so what you're saying is that you guys decided to have it where Mystery of the Mutants is a sequel?
That wouldn't really make sense... I mean, why would one announce the sequil to a game that isn't even announced yet?
I just discovered this game, looks amazing. Anyone know when it will be released? Teaser says Fall 2010....
Ultra Kid is a completeley different game, so I'm sure it will have completeley different issues than Aralon. I bet the price of it was Ultra High.
sorry for the douplepost, please delte. (if possible) I think I may have gotten abit confused editting my last post...
So what's happened to this? Been waiting for so long I actually forgot the name of it! Has it been canned? Or is it still set for a release sometime in the future?
It's been delayed, due to quality issues, but it IS going to be made. It will be released when it is done. That could be as late as March. I'll post updates when I have something useful to tell you. Thanks for your patience.
There's been a change of ownership for UltraKid. I've left Crescent Moon, and will be completing and publishing UltraKid under Human Powered Games. (Would a kindly admin please change the topic heading to "UltraKid: – A 3d Platformer by Human Powered Games").
As late as March? I know how hard it is developing games etc etc but you really need to learn when hype becomes tedium. For iOS games especially, there shouldn't be a two year rate; for consoles there is barely such a long wait. If you knew that you had not done much development of the game, or you had other potential projects you should have got this done first or just announced it later. It doesn't matter how good the game is, 2 years is far too long to have the game in development status and is shockingly bad PR.
I agree, but up until now PR has been out of my hands. I'm not going to release a broken mess just to hit some arbitrary deadline. I know that people will happily buy broken messes, but I can't in good conscience sell one. Not here to hype anything... somebody asked for an update, so I gave them an update. It'll be done when it's done... and when it's getting close to done, I'll be back here hyping it.
I appreciate your honesty. Those who care more about gameplay than hype will still be there to get your game when it comes out. Regardless of the time waiting, I for one will grab it when it is finished. The info posted so far has certainly got me hooked!
I think you're grossly overestimating the amount of supposed hype this game has. It'll be released when it's done, and people will like it regardless of how tedious you think following this thread has been.
