This is actually a pretty cool app idea but the problem is that i don't know many people that tweet what they are listening to. Would be great for status messages on im clients but on twitter it would just be like spam... Also no offense but who cares what someone is listening to on twitter! lol still a cool idea im sure there are some people that would like it, just not me. Also that twitter contest is just waiting for someone to tweet: "#twitPod sucks!!! #promocode plz" lol i don't want to b in the contest but just saying its going to happen...
I think you'd be surprised just how many people do. I know I was! Do a quick search on Twitter for #nowplaying. There was over 400 new tweets in less than a minute when I searched just now, and it is often a trending topic. Also #musicmonday is a popular one (which "twitPod" automatically adds to tweets on Mondays!). But I appreciate that it's not for everyone.
lol well thats twitter for you, very surprising... i'll give you another stat to find how many out of those 400 have ipod touches or iphones? lol jk smart to research your target audience...
