http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=317777108&mt=8 looks like it has push notifications too.. hmm
Like I said last time, I did get this one. Not really a heavy twitter user, so I didn't have any requirements from the app other than easily checking the twits as twitter's mobile site completely sucks and is barely usable. To my surprise this app has quite a few neat features. Saving the links in twits for reading them later, builtin browser, multiple accounts, easy notification of your dm and @ mentions and more. Probably standard affair for most Twitter apps but I wouldn't know as this is the only one I've tried so far. Tweetie seems to be everyones favorite but for those who don't want to pay for it, Twit bird can easily get the job done. In fact I found it much easier to use Twit Bird on iPhone instead of using the Twitter website on my mac. So it's definitely worth trying out for free. As far as push is concerned, I use a jailbroken iPhone and so far haven't managed to activate push for any app, so won't be ablle to comment about Twit Bird's push notifications.
Picked this up myself. I vary with my twittering, some days none at all, other days, quite a bit. I've been using tweetdeck, but will check this out and see how I like it. Thanks for the heads up!
Right, but the thread title says "twitbird PRO free today" which makes me assume that twitbird PRO is free, not twitbird premium.. Oh well..
Oh ok..so stick with Pro? I couldn't tell because when I searched the store the Pro version didn't show, only the Premium.
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/twitbird-twitter-push-notification/id317777108?mt=8 is the pro version. The name is changed but the icon tells it all.
