A new hands on video, this time on the iPad 2, and showing off a little bit more 2 finger play, and more tricks. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
That smith looked awesome. Are there any plans for stalls/quarter pipe tricks (rock, blunt, pivot fakie)? Also, not to be "that guy", but I noticed in the video most of the heelflip tricks in the menu are mispelled as HEALflip.
I can't believe I misspelt heelflip again! You can do some quarter pipe / bowl tricks, but generally the game doesn't know about them yet, I want to improve that in the future, but the game will detect a back side 180 on a quarter pipe, and similar spin tricks. edit: I just fixed that weird wall skating thing that Jared found in the TA Plays video. I had been new about that, and nearly forgot to fix it before releasing.
So when is this coming exactly? I think I've heard soon, mid-October, and late October... Also, will this include iCloud support since it's universal? Pleeeeeease... : )
Hiya, just wanted to know if you can do manuals (nose and tail) in this game and if not are there plans to add these later? cheers
Yes, it has iCloud support. There may be a date announcement tomorrow. You can do a manual, although, the trick scoring system doesn't know about them, and to be honest, the manual physics could do with some tweaking. The plan is to improve this with future updates. We will be listening to peoples feed back.
No, not $2, it's $1.99 I haven't been paying attention to what else is coming out at the moment. I guess, at least if they are all cheap, then you can get them all. Anyway, I can't bring my self to charge as much as Touchgrind, or Finday's, there isn't much content. Hopefully we will be able to add some more content as in app purchases in the future.
Haha. The only reason why I didn't get touchgrind was because it wasn't open world, so I'll definitely be getting this anyway.
