Posted this on the last page just brought it forward incase you miss it as I also just went back to do level 3 on hard completed it and didn't get an acorn or recognition that it has been completed. Did I break my game by completing level 5? Tried closing the app in multitasking after 5 didn't show as completed when I did it and then this one happened.
Would like to emphasize that this has now happened to me 3 times as well. The most recent being that i beat level 6, it is showing it as unbeaten, but i still received the acorn. It also happened one other time and i did not receive the acorn. Not sure what is causing it, but it happens somewhat frequently, best of luck figuring it out!
Seems like this happens way more for you guys, than when we tested the game internally. We'll get it fixed and patch the game before release. Thanks for all the reports Hope you can bear with the bug for a while and play a bit on.

I managed to replicate the bug where you can't proceed to the next level after a victory. It only happens when you use the retry button and then get a victory in the next try. We'll get that fixed and patch the game. Until then, don't use the retry button and just exit the level if you want to try it again.
Sorry I will try more today but with the bugs yesterday and new releases today : ) I have completed 1-4 on hard or super now but looks like I have to complete 5 again and hope it registers this time or I probably would be on 7-10 by now : (
Got a code from the developers and been playing - this is lots of fun! Great art, sound, and overall production value. Love the multiple lanes and barriers - they help separate the game out from other similar titles. Definitely challenging though - like others, having trouble passing level 5, but got farther today. I'm sure I can do it - will just take some practice and strategizing. Good luck on launch! Oh yeah, btw, love the Forest of Endor (Return of the Jedi) sounding music!

Same here. Got a code from the devs. Charming art style, simplistic strategy mechanics, but then a wall only a few levels in. Oh and the background music volume is very low, i cant even decipher the rhythm when i have the volume on my ipad air halfway up.
Thanks for the feedback Exact-Psience! We'll look into turning the music up. We will also be turning down the difficulty of early levels, before releasing the game.
I also received a code from the devs (thanks guys), and have been enjoying the game so far. Though it's got the standard castle offense vibe, there's enough new elements here to make it stand out. My question to the devs is, is this going to be a paid game? The gameplay doesn't feel balanced that way at the moment. But there is a lot of potential here. Also, the art looks very nice on a iPad Mini Retina, but the background music does sound muffled.
Thank you for the kind words Jake! Yes, Tree Wars is going to be a paid game. We are patching it this week to rebalance the early levels because we don't want it to feel like you have to use IAP. We have completed all levels on all difficulties without it, so you should be able to do the same. We are also turning up the music in the new patch
Sounds great, and I look forward to the tweaks. The game definitely feels like premium game, but the difficultly spike had me nervous.
