Train Conductor uses the Plus+ network We're pleased to announce that we've integrated the Plus+ network into Train Conductor!! We had a good chat to the guys at Plus+ and the network looks very solid. They have some great plans for the future and their goals align quite well with ours so we've decided to integrate with their network. Not to mention there was some positive sentiments towards the Plus+ here at TouchArcade Also, we have some new artwork More screenshots coming.... A video will be ready in a couple days... and with it we will unveil the graveyard shift!
Plus is working nicely in initial beta test Beta tester news: Just thought I would chime in and comment on plus integration. Leaderboards and awards are working well. This is a really fun, addictive game and seeing my world ranking is sweat.
I have been beta testing for this game and so far It's great I love it. Would buy this game at up to 5 dollars. The art style and plus+ connectivity are both great, the only thing i disliked is the soundtrack, just because of the lack of them.
yeah we'd love to add more music but we've run out of space! we need to keep the game under 10mb and we need room for an update... glad you're all loving it
why do you need to keep it under 10MB, there are plenty of devs who havent.. theres no rule that says you HAVE to stay under the wireless limit.
We don't have to, but its a train game and i'm sure people would like to be able to pick it up while on a train we might break the limit with the update though, so we'll see how we go.
sorry, wait let me rephrase all of that. Train Conductor has 6 custom music tracks in the game. They were created specifically for the game by a very talented musician who's been performing and writing for almost 2 decades. The tunes have been written to bring the atmosphere of the daytime and nighttime modes to life. The beta testers can give their opinions to the effectiveness to them. I think from what I've heard so far, they like them and want more of it. I think we've done well to keep it under 10mb given its size (9 train models, 8 levels, many menus, international high scores, awards, 6 music tracks, many detailed sfx etc). We put in the time to achieve this purely for gamers convenience (its pretty annoying when you see a game you want but can't download it over the air). sorry for the confusion. my bad, its late here.
