Just was wondering if I had any fellow fantasy football players on here that think it would be cool to have a TouchArcade fantasy football league (American Football). If I could get like 10 or so people who would be interested in playing I'll make a social group where we can organize rules, draft time, etc. So just post here if you are interested in playing! It will be an ESPN league. Current Players: Me Worldcup1100 Brazillian Rider Vbxz47 Swishnj Vester Daniel@appular Abi646 Booch138 JoshC. Da Shiz Wiz

You guys have to vow to take it seriously, as I definitely take ALL the leagues I'm in seriously. And by seriously, I mean I actively keep stats on people I want to get by using the Sports section of the newspaper.
I've always wanted to play FF, but I dunno. Is it really complicated? Or do you just pick players you think will do good in the week?
Sort of. At the beginning if the season all the players in the league draft a team. Each week you match up with another team and whoever gets more points wins. You earn points through your players performance (IE if one of your players gets a touchdown or gains X amount of yards you get points). In a standard league you have a QB, 2 Running Backs, 2 WR's, 1 Tight End, 1 slot for either an RB or WR, 1 defense, and 1 kicker. The cumulative score of all these players in the week is put up against whoever's team your matched up against and the higher score wins. You play a different opponent each week and the teams with the best records make the playoffs. You also have a bench for 8 (?) players that do not add your cumulative score for the week but can be exchanged for your starters in between games if you wish. You can also trade players with other teams, pick up players who are not on a team (however you must have room on your team). Essentially your managing a team of NFL stars and trying to maximize your points with the players and open positions you have available.
Why do you waste your time doing all that work, when almost every stat is readily available on the fantasy site? I have used CBS, Yahoo, and ESPN, and everyone has given me all the info I could want and more.
