I just bought the iPhone 7 Plus and noticed that when I turn on notifications within the Touch Arcade app, they immediately turn themselves off once I go back and check the notifications screen. I've logged out, logged back in, and I even deleted and reinstalled the app. Anyone else experiencing this? I just updated to iOS 10.0.2, and still have the problem. Hopefully, I've posted this topic in the right section. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
YESSSS! Same thing here and I'm losing my mind. I emailed support 3x about this and nobody has responded. I'd say I look forward to you're response back but I'm sure I won't be notified LOL. I guess I feel a LITTLE better that I'm not the only one. I'd feel GREAT if they fix it somehow..
I feel ya! I was looking at the last time the app was updated recently and it's been several years. Not sure if TA will feel any pressure from Apple to update with the new rules in place, not that I'd want them to experience any difficulties, because I really love this place. I couldn't imagine my life without TA. I'd like to believe that they'll update it soon and if you hear anything before I do, let me know. Take care. ##
We are actually unable to update the app. Apple's guidelines changed after its initial release, and they will no longer approve any updates to the app. If it breaks or Apple removes it, that's that, I'm afraid.
As much as I miss my notifications, it won't compare to how I'll feel when this app stops working. I've enjoyed every minute here so, thank you for that. I'll keep visiting TA everyday and when the app doesn't work anymore, I'll just use the web to get online. Now I'm feeling bad I haven't given to the Patreon yet#
