Not sure where else to put this so I figured this would be the best spot. I've had my Ipod touch 2g 8gb for about 5 months now and everything has worked fine but a couple of weeks ago I noticed the top button was rarely working. For many reasons, I have my Ipod set to autolock after the longest time possible so not being able to press it is a problem. The strange thing is that I will press it, maybe 25-50 times in as many ways possible and nothing will happen, then all of a sudden, it works, and continues to work. I can keep turning the screen on and off as much as I want. A few hours later the same problem persists. It's not the biggest deal but it's definitely a pain and can get pretty aggrivating. Has anyone else had/heard of this happening? Is there any suggestions that can be made or what are my possible options here? Thanks
JAILBREAK, and download something called quicklock i think. It places a button to lock the ipod on your springboard. Or you could try taking it to the apple store
