Please try closing all applications from multitasking (as you probably already know: double-click the home key -> hold your finger still on one of the icons -> hit the red (-) on all icons.) If that doesn't help, try rebooting the device (hold down lock-key for a few seconds, and slide the "Power off" slider.) Please let us know if the game still isn't working!
Did that. The effect is prob some tweak I installed, but something to keep in mind if some1 else reports the same problem. BTW, does the app work on a second gen itouch.
Is that "tweak" you mentioned something that you can easily remove, and then test if the game works? We would really love to find out what is causing this unusual behavior, so we can warn others about the possible problem. We don't have any jailbroken devices here in our office, but on each non-jailbroken device we've tested, the game has worked just fine. To answer your question: No, the game unfortunately doesn't work on second generation iPods :/ Please note that 8GB model of 3rd generation iPod has 2nd generation hardware, and therefore that's excluded as well! Other 3rd generation iPods (with bigger harddrive) have been tested and verified to work. Thanks Echopeus, great to hear!
I wanted to play this game so bad when it came out but it was only for iPad. Originally the gameplay looked similar to anthill from the screenshots but the touch mechanic, as opposed to line-drawing is definitely more appealing to me. Wish this had come out sooner but will still give the lite version a try before deciding.
