I see this all the time in the games and apps forum. Not sure what it's supposed to stand for but I've always thought it was "Try Out For The Team". Am I right or wrong? If I'm wrong then what does it mean?
Take one for the team - It's an expression that usually refers to the job a wing man on a night out on the town. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=take%20one%20for%20the%20team
I don't know if you'd care or not, but TOFFT originated several months ago with the discussion of a game where you kiss the screen. Most people stereotyped it as another iFart-like app, until someone bought it. It ended up being fun(ny). What seemed like a bad game ended up being a fun one. Now, if there is a game that is on the edge with no reviews, a member of tofft can buy it and save everyone else the trouble.
Thanks for the history. I actually remember the discussion of "rate my kiss" and even got a promo code for it. Interesting to know that TOFFT was born in that discussion. Btw ... I really didn't care much for kissing my iPhone and my iPhone probably felt the same so this app was quick to disappear from both my apps and my mind.
