    After developing games as a hobby for several years now, my two big hits iAtoms and Vampires! and not having finished anything for quite a while, I finally decided to start another small project just for the motivation it usually brings to get something done.

    The idea is based on a game I once created for a 48hrs-contest for PC and while that game already turned out much better than I expected, I want to get a bit further with the gameplay this time.
    The game is called The Kid Stories 2: Slaughter of Religions and is using my own open source iOS 3D game engine iSDGE and will have a special story and some kind of experimental gameplay.
    I hope that it turns out to be worth $0.99 and if not, it´ll just be free.

    As a first step I am now working on getting the basic gameplay done, using the old assets of the 48hrs game with some ugly and boring prototype levels.
    The first gameplay mode is already working quite fine:

    I started this project 3 days ago and want to present my progress here while working on it to hopefully keep my motivated or even get some new ideas on how to improve stuff.

    I just implemented some basic blood particles and blob shadows:

    Another update:
    I messed around with changing the level (which actually still crashes most of the time...) and started implementing the second "gameplay mode":

    An amazingly pretty cloud!!11111 (and a building, but as I was to lazy to add windows, it is nearly impossible to see that...)
